Instead of the Axe, 2021 Kia Stinger Survives With a Refresh

For a little while we thought the Kia Stinger wasn't long for this world, but Kia has just proved us wrong and we couldn't be happier.

2022? Great! The Stinger survives even longer!

Don't know why this is even "news", it was well known that there was going to be an MCE a while ago and at the minimum, good for another 2 years of production after the refresh launches.

Even if ultimately, the Stinger gets canceled, wouldn't be surprised if Kia extends the production run beyond the typical production cycle.

As mentioned prior, I think they are moving the Stinger to a 7 year cycle like is done with premium/luxury vehicles. If this does become the case, this can be a good thing for the longevity of the vehicle. This would give them time to improve the other higher trim vehicles and bring in higher tier vehicles in their line up, or have substantial improved products to launch a luxury line. That "E" badge could be used for that new lineup.
