I came across this article tonight and can't help but feel awful for all involved. Be careful out there folks.

North East man dies in Delaware wreck

NEWARK — Delaware State Police say a North East man was one of two people killed Wednesday night in a crash on Interstate 95.

Yeah sounds like the Stinger was in the lead, hit the poor guy and flung him into the other lane where he was struck again by the trailing Camaro. Awful just speculation of course but that’s how it reads to me. Very sad

The Stinger owner will have to live the rest of his life with the fact he's responsible for the deaths of two people. Condolences to the loved ones of the two people killed.

That's what I read into the story as well...hopefully I am wrong too.

It does no good to read into the story at all; the facts as presented are bad enough. We should resist the temptation to allow disparaging thoughts to enter the conversation without facts. Two people have died, and at least the Camaro driver and Kia driver/passenger will undoubtedly have PTSD (and possibly more depending on who witnessed the accident first-hand). Truly a tragic tale of trying to do the right thing and being in the wrong place at the wrong time. And if it comes out that the two drivers were racing, it just makes the tragedy that much worse.

Drive safe everyone; I hope everyone has someone/thing to come home to.

Agreed, I can't imagine what either the Stinger or the Camaro driver must be feeling. I know I'd never be the same, probably wouldn't even drive again.

My heart also goes out to the two that perished, and their families.

According to another article, the Stinger was traveling north and the Camaro was going south, so they weren't racing. Sad that the Stinger missed the disabled vehicle until it was too late, though.

I did a deep dive and managed to find pics of the accident scene, including the Stinger. I assume the owner added vertical doors, right, surely it wouldn't be opening this way because of the wreck?

The red color really freaked me out at first, but it must have been a re-paint (based on psgr side fender).

I think it's a White or Ceramic Silver, turned weird in the lighting conditions. That door mod is just stupid.

Dead people means some driving was done very poorly, to say the least.
