2020 GT2 Lease Question (purchase price)

Yes I know. I'll pay a bit more overtime. But I'm not sure I'll stay in the US after 3 years from now so I'm trying not to keep myself tied down atm.

Nah the time and money is fine honestly. I'm coming off a lease now and just looking to get into something more fun.

I could buy it out and finance it for the next 5 years sure but if I do move I'd just rather not deal with selling the car on the way out

if you can wait till Dec to lease buyout, the lease rebate should be higher.

Yeah the no guarantees part is what sucks. And also this is one of only 4 GT2's left in anywhere close to me according to KIA's own inventory website. Theres these 2 white GT2's and a Black and a Blue within 100 miles and thats it

I'd reach out to the other dealers and see if you can get a 10% discount off MSRP as part of your lease. Then use that paperwork to try to get the current dealer to drop their price. Would take an hour of your time and who cares if they aren't the colors that you want. The dealer doesn't need to know that

Tried that already. Theres only one dealer with GT2s left. I emailed over the offer I had from this place asking them to beat it and they said its too agressive of an offer and they cant beat it word for word :/

Let’s face it - the inventory is almost non-existent (at least compared to a year ago) and Stingers lease terribly due to poor RV and super high MF.

its location specific and you’d have to get that information from Edmunds lease forum, but based on some recent posts, it’s around .00128 (which is actually lower than it used to be - 0.00158 iirc).

Wasn’t it something like .00182 before that? It may have been over .00200 at one point or maybe that was just dealers marking it up?

I've asked on Edmunds actually waiting for an answer.

And if its really that low that would be great. I'm in 10901 location wise but we tend to get shafted with higher rates.

Yup - it was really high - effective rate above 6%, if I remember correctly.

You are right its like .00128 right now. Glad I know because it seems like the dealer was trying to claim a higher one somehow
