2020 GT2 AWD Lease - Deal or no Deal?

Ah yeah I’m on the NH/MA border which is also 20 min from Maine. I’ve found one ceramic silver 20 GT2 awd in surrounding states and in same situation with 0%. I started looking at the lease but the deals aren’t there so now I have to decide to just eat it on lease, buy or walk away. I have another vehicle as well as primary that’s an expiring lease so not in dire need just loved the gt2

The 24 lease rebates are MUCH better than the 36 month numbers. It still might be worth doing a lease buyout on a 2020 with the 24 month numbers below. Current(March) 24 month then 36 month numbers below for each model.

GT1
.00185 MF and 56% residual. $7900 lease cash
.00185 MF and 51% residual. $6700

GT2
.00193 MF and 54% residual. $9500
.00185 MF and 49% residual. $7900

@Travis Wills
I just got some new numbers from dealer on 2020 AWD GT2 Ceramic Silver...MSRP 54850 (Note - Numbers include reg and MA Tax 6%)
  • 24/12 9500 Lease Cash Residual 29804 Adj Cap Cost $45k $850/mo lease with only 1st lease payment drive off
Am I understanding correctly that if I do a lease buyout the buyout figure is the Adj Cap Cost?

Lease buyout is roughly net cap cost (so after lease cash) + sales tax on adj cap cost + lease buyout fee

That being said, adj cap cost of $45K but $850/mo? Are you rolling in negative equity?

The 45k and 850 include 6.5% sales, no money down and no trade.

In any case, you should ask for a lease sheet. A sentence of terms like the one you listed isn't enough info.

Totally agree and requested one last Friday but that was prior to most dealerships in this area meeting, laying off or furlough and it’s pending. I sent follow up but not sure if he is working now. But def not getting lease without it all laid out to ensure numbers are solid
