I dealt with this issue and was stranded multiple times after several failed fixes. Glad they're finally acknowledging it:

An inaccurate fuel gauge may result in the vehicle unexpectedly running out of fuel and stalling, increasing the risk of a crash.

Summary
Kia Motors America (Kia) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Stinger vehicles. A software error in the instrument cluster may cause an inaccurate fuel gauge reading.
Remedy
Dealers will update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 10, 2021. Owners may contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542. Kia's number for this recall is SC219.

What year is your car? So there used to be 54 cars affected.

I wonder how much they will charge me to diagnose the recall, lolol.
 
I wonder if they could have this taken a look at for the 2018 -2019 MY Stinger because this is the very issue I'm dealing with the dame fuel gauge is way off. Any word on if the software fix worked?
