PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. I so wish they would fix the image contrast for the 360 view camera. Was ruined quite a few versions ago. Our Hyundai Santa Fe (essentially running same software) has much better clarity, particularly at night. (PS yes I have played with all the day-night settings).
I just updated and it's still not working sadly.

I ran the Kia Navigator Updater (Windows 10) and it updated to a new application.
Ran the s/w update for Kia Stinger GT 2018, which formatted and copied to the SDCARD. Before doing all this, I took a data copy on HDD of the SDCARD to compare ver and file differences.
After the update to the SDCARD was completed, everything is still the same version as previous (May 2021). The updated S/W version is and remains CK_19MY.AUS.SOP.006.2.210521.STD_M
I know it updated on the SDCARD because the format completed and all files and folders have today's date and timestamp of the update.
Can someone who recently updated confirm their s/w version in 2018_21_Stinger_AU.ver?

there is no new update for the AU stinger yet, last update was around this time last year i think.
Ok thanks. I read the US had gotten their update and thought AU would have too.
we are usually a few months behind the US in regards to updates.

So they didnt even fix the AA widescreen issue like the US update? Kia can seriously f*ck right off, absolute useless c*nts.

On the 10.5inch panel the AA is only used on 2/3 of the screen making 1/3 of the screen useless.

Keep in mind the Android Auto Widescreen "fix" for the US models wasn't actually listed in the notice of changes for the US update. So it's possible this update may fix the Android Auto widescreen issue for other locations.

Looks like there will be another update for the Widescreen version in June, im still going to do the update but maybe they are fixing it in this update in June instead.
