Car is less than a month old. Only us 900 miles on the odometer.
I previously owned a white Kia stinger GT. When taking it in for a serviced oil change, I came across this GTS that was calling my name from the showroom floor. Instantly Fell in love with the car so decided to make a move on it. Love the car and it’s upgraded features compared to my first one, especially all the attention I receive in it, but after a week of owning it, the Mrs and I found out we were expecting, so unfortunately I need to try and sell my baby.
This is the very rare drift edition Kia stinger GTS. Only 800 of these were produced and only 500 of them were made in AWD.
I was told is number 4 sold in California making it extremely rare.
Car has a twin turbo v6 pushing out 365 hp, brembo brakes, real carbon fiber on the outside trims, Alcantara on the inside, upgraded Harmon Kardon stereo and many more options.

You can do some research online or ask me if you have any further questions.
Looking to get 55k or best offer.
my loss is your gain

OEM price is $46,400. $55K is "your loss"?

it was a typo. it was supposed to be 50k.
after taxes, fees, and dealer mark ups, it was way over the OEM price. trust me. the AWD ones are very rare too.

Mark up? I got my GTS AWD in Cali with 0 markup. As for 4 in Cali, the dealer I got mine from literally had another GTS AWD on their showroom 2 weeks later.

Folks, he sets his own price. Let the market dictate if it sells at that price point.

@Emeza congratulations on the baby! GLWS! If the sale doesn’t work out, and if it’s your first child, I’d say try out the Stinger with a car seat. You might be surprised by just how well it works out.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Hold on, let's talk about this friend. Surely the stinger is big enough for a family with one child no? I have 3 and I can get at least.... 2 of them in the car at any given time

He's probably talking about selling the car due to the payment, not necessarily the amount of room the vehicle offers. Sorry to hear he paid $50k +. They were selling them for $6k under MSRP over here in Ft. Worth. He's looking at a serious hit in depreciation if he paid that much.

This is funny. Dealership took this guy for a ride so he's trying to pass on his misfortune. By the tone of the original post it's clear he thinks he's more informed on Stingers than the members of this forum are. He's was hoping he could find a fool on this forum to pay over new car MSRP for a used Kia.

OP, you shouldn't expect to recoup the costs of your taxes, fees, and dealer markups. I would suggest not trying to pass those fees onto a potential buyer. You may also want to check Autotrader to get a better idea of what the real market for the car is. There are currently 57 brand new GTSs for sale on their site. Your used car is priced higher than all but 2 of them.

Interestingly a few days ago you made the same "typo" on another Stinger forum.

KBB says your car is worth somewhere between $38-40,000...but I think you already know that, which is why you're trying to "help" someone on an internet forum. ;)

Sorry but this post is just as laughable as the ones we've seen from dealers trying to rape customers with their ridiculous prices.

But it's a "rare drift edition"... that is until Kia offers the same D-AWD system on their 2020 Stingers as well as the other aesthetic options you can already get on the aftermarket.

As noted, probably best to try to sell this privately if you're hoping to get anywhere near your asking price. Too much information floating around here about deals for anyone to be paying that much. The private market is less informed ;)

New owner will have to re-pay taxes on the purchase...

Not to really discredit you but I bought one last week for 39k OTD. I can get you another one right now for just north of 40k.

It was one of the first 4 sold in Cali.... That alone has to be worth 10k right?

Good point...'cept there's currently 8 brand new GTSs for sale in the Los Angeles/San Diego area, ranging in price from $41-$47k. Who knows how many more are currently for sale in Cali. o_O

Poor guy. The dealership he bought his car from really did a number on him. I guess there was some MVP salesman around that noticed how enthused he was about the car and knew they had a live one on the hook. Sucks for him. It's scary to think how much negative equity he must have in that car, especially if he traded another Stinger for it. :lipsaresealed:

For sure. Well not much you can do but get a bottle of HEET and a lighter. :D

Maybe he can take it back to the dealer for trade-in and buy his old Stinger back. It's worth a shot...

Congrats on the baby. I’ll give you $37k for it. The car, not the kid.
