2019 GT2 AWD factory wheel size?

Hi all, brand new here, and just got a 2019 GT2 AWD. I knew it would have all-season tires due to the AWD, but being a GT2 I was surprised it had the 18" wheels instead of 19". Is that normal? Searched a bit but didn't find this particular answer. Thanks!

Yes, it is a normal OEM setup. 18" wheels 225 tires on AWD. But 19" on AWD is standard also, with Michelin PS4 summer tires. That is what our GT1 AWD came with.

Thanks! Maybe "normal" wasn't the right word. Guess what I'm wondering is on a GT1/GT2 with AWD, what triggered 18s instead of 19s, as I thought 19 was standard on those trims? But wasn't sure what happened when AWD was added to the mix.

Not a big deal, was just curious as I thought the GT2 was "fully loaded", so seemed odd that it wouldn't have the 19s.

18" isn't less "fully loaded" than 19", it's just different. I recall back in 2018 that the northern states only received AWD 18" with A/S tires. Anyone who wanted a RWD or 19" wheels had to get one from some other state. I don't know when KIA started sending the 19" wheeled cars up there. Oddly, Canada at the same time was getting 19" wheels and summer tires. I don't think that any 19" wheels were on A/S tires at any point.
