2018 Kia Stinger Dealer and Mall Displays Full Listing (USA)

I went to Healy KIA in Newburgh, NY today to see the Stinger they have in their showroom. Looks awesome!. They have the full options on it. These are definitely Korean. The rearview mirror had what's called HiPass logos on them and I was told that is the EZPass in Korea. I asked about the slot that looked like it was meant for some kind of card to fit in it. Then saw the Logo on the front of the mirror. It had the HUD, front camera and rear cameras, Brembo brakes. I loved that the air ducts around the front wheel are functional to help cool the breaks. The dealer is expecting in December to start seeing models for sale. The model they had was dark blue with black leather. a 2.0L T with rear wheel drive. I heard one of the color options was yellow. That will really be an eye-catcher.

Sounds like another dealer that only knows what they've seen online and doesn't have any actual information from Kia yet. All signs so far point to them not bringing the dark blue or yellow to America. Although now you've put a seed of doubt in my mind and given me false hope.

Nice observations, @KingLamoni. Oh and welcome aboard! Thank you for signing up! :)

Why do you say "all signs..point to them not bringing" these colors to the US? I know there is still a lot of speculation on this including sticker prices here. Has there been anywhere confirmed that they are selling yet?

I visited Hollywood Kia in South Florida yesterday and checked out their red Stinger GT. They had NO information further than what we already know. A salesman said the car they have is fully loaded minus AWD and was gonna go for $53k. Anyways, it was awesome finally getting to see one in person. The drivers seat and rear seat was comfortable and it felt very roomy. One thing i did notice was the "E" badge on the steering wheel. I thought that was kind of cool. I don't know if its been mentioned before about this particular car but it was red with red interior.

Sounds like a Korean version with the E badge on the steering wheel. I'm guessing it was on the hood as well - with the script Stinger badge at the rear center. If I go down south over the next few days I'll stop in and take a look...

I think you're right. I saw some tags inside that had korean writing on them. i didn't pay much attention to the hood but i think it dad have the word stinger going across the hatch

Went to the dealer nearest me (in Cerritos CA) and they had a GT, but it was just sitting in the showroom, no sign, nothing to suggest it was anything special. And even though I spent 5-10 minutes looking it over, sitting inside it, no salesperson talked to me. Odd.

Car looked great in person. Fit and finish seemed high quality. Also ran into a journalist who was road testing one and got the same impression.

I'm curious, before I waste time driving down there--what color is this one (interior/exterior)? I'm still hoping to see the Snow White Pearl paint or a gray interior in person. Is the battery working so that you can fiddle with stuff?

I also had an odd experience there, back in late July before they had the display model. I never was allowed past the parking lot, where the salesmen were all sitting under a canopy waiting for "real" customers. I wanted to establish some kind of relationship with them so I'd be contacted when they got in a display, but they didn't even care to take my name and number. I know, it was early in the game, but I really felt unwelcome.

Welcome aboard, @cyirush! Thank you for signing up. I do find it odd that sales people aren't jumping at customers interested in the Stinger. But I imagine it's because they probably won't have one to sell for a while. Or perhaps at all. Kia isn't known for the best sales and service experience so this will take some time to get right. Hyundai has come a long way since the introduction of the Genesis Coupe and Sedan - so will Kia...

I went to Folsom Lake Kia in Folsom, CA. They have a deep chroma blue 2 liter Korean-spec sitting in the middle of the showroom. Nice but no power. They said they're expecting some fours later in November and V6s in December. The guy I spoke with seemed moderately knowledgeable. Still a damn fine looking car.

They're getting the four cylinders first, huh? I thought it was going to be the other way around. Maybe that was Canada I'm thinking of...

I don't think Canada's even getting the fours this year. One other NorCal dealer said the same thing but maybe it's just those two dealers. Maybe state, maybe region. Still just waiting...

Right, I heard Canada was only getting the twin turbo V6 this year...

Not to bog the USA thread down with Canada chat, but since they're only getting AWD models I was wondering, do the AWD models still come with staggered wheels, and if not what are the wheel sizes for AWD ones? Do AWD 4cyls have different size wheels than the AWD V6's? I'm still intent on a RWD for myself so I was curious.

Yeah, I heard the same thing from my dealer here in Texas, I4 first and then the V6s

Okay so the same sizes as RWD, thanks.

The GT & GT Limited both come with AWD, 19" rims & 225/255 mm front /back and of course respective aspect ratios i.e 40/35.
Yep, that is only if you get the summer tires. If you choose all season tires on the AWD you get 18" wheels.
