2018 Kia Stinger Dealer and Mall Displays Full Listing (USA)

all season tires

I wasn't aware you had that option in Canada. Besides, the pre-ordering process did not allow for a tick mark on A/S tires.:) It's too late anyway, they are on a ship in the middle of the Pacific and are probably arriving around the 14th of this month. :):):)

summer in Ontario?

It's a myth, particularly this year. In general, we consider weather favourable if it's above the freezing point, but that's rare. Like Michigan, Minnesota & New England, throw in New York state as well. On the other hand, we don't worry too much about earth quakes (no St. Andreas fault here!), fresh water, wild fires (which do happen far off and bother the squirrels), receding coast lines and other natural disasters. But we get compensated for these deficiencies with the change of colors in the woods (happens some time between spring & winter), no guns (they get confiscated at the border) and lots of snow, fine wines, decent beer and great rye.
So if you ever head our way during April to October, don't forget your snow shoes and skis. Some of our neighbors to south have been known to come prepared as such. :)

Give it 20 years and your weather will probably be more like Pennsylvania. Maybe 15 if the Stinger GT sells well enough :P

Guess I'll stick to the southern BC coast where the average low temperatures are always positive no matter what thermometer you use. I'm not afraid of earthquakes; I just try to avoid earthquake season. Seriously, I'm not sure I'd be running summer tires where you live.

@Charly
Actually....we have usually very nice weather from early May through the end of October. November through April is generally mixed. But if you like snow, we have glorius weather in February and sometimes March, blue skies with brilliantly white snow about 100 km from Toronto. It can be really nice if you are able to embrace the cold.
But in respect to tires, A/S, Summer & Winter tires all have different rubber compounds, and A/S is a compromise. A compromise is alright for D/D you use for commuting. If you drive a sportier vehicle like the Stinger, you should probably optimize the tires to the car and to the prevailing conditions. To each his own, but where you live, you probably don't have to worry much about snow. :)

Snow? I love snow. It snows two inches here in the morning every other year and we all go out and say "Ooooh, aaaahhh" and take pictures and then it melts by 1:00. I love snow.

It kinda sounds like you could use summer, winter, and A/S for spring and fall.

Does anyone know of a central Florida dealer with a Stinger in the showroom? The Kia website says my local Fuccillo dealership should have one, but the salesman I spoke to had no knowledge of this and thought it would be "sometime next month" before they had one.

There were, at one time, several dealerships across the country that had a Korean version of the car that they temporarily had on display for a little while until they had to send it to fairs, car shows, next dealership, etc. More than likely the dealership you are talking about had one on display for a little while. I think mine had theirs for 2 weeks before it was shipped off somewhere else.

#stingersalon is officially open now at montgomery mall in Maryland. Got to sit an US spec GT2 and came away thoroughly impressed. The car has such a presence in person. I was hoping for a different color than red like the display sitting out in the mall but such is life.

Some things of note: The rear view is worse than i thought it would be (not a deal breaker) but side and forward views were great. Also, I'm 6'1 (more legs than torso) and trying to sit behind myself was pretty much gymnastics, mostly because my feet couldn't really fit under the front seat. Not a big deal for me but now I know what many taller reviewers were saying.

On a side note; test drives aren't available just yet but the staff member informed me that they can coordinate that in the near future and are willing to drive up to 2 hrs from the store to perform a test drive. Pretty cool! Also, the color palette I was shown match up with exactly with the configurator online right down to my first choice panthera metal only being on the GT trim.

For those in the DC, VA, MD area, definitely go check it out. The staff were extremely friendly but a few of the tougher questions (ie. 360 camera availability, more color choices etc.) couldn't be answered during my visit.

good times!

Which lot is it on? I'm seeing stuff online in the West, but nothing East yet.

All the inventory that is available (on the west coast for now), only has a black interior.

Was willing to overlook the omission of the 360 camera, wireless charging pad and limited color options, but not having a red leather interior is a deal breaker for me.

I still want some kind of confirmation that the builder on the website is accurate. Our thinking for months was that the red interior would only be available in nappa leather on the GT2 trim, but now you can get it on GT1 if the paint is black or silver. And we heard that stuff was added and pulled from the builder due to available stock coming to America, but if everything delivered so far is black then that's not true either?

Earnhardt Kia says that they have 5, but did not specify which trims.

Just got the call from Folsom Lake Kia. They've got Stingers including at least one GT. I don't know how many, I don't know the trim levels, I don't know the colors. All I know is that I've got to clean up the puddle I made and that I'm going to go drive a GT after work.
