2018 GT2 vs 2019 GT1 - help!

Wait a couple months and snag a killer deal on a 19 GT2 since the 20’s will be out and they want everything gone by Christmas. Some of us have gotten 19 GT2’s for around $40,000 new.
Great thinking...if only I can hold out that long. Those that have gotten GT2 for 40k new...is that through a lease incentive then subsequent buyout? Or just an outright purchase from dealer?

I think it would have to be through the lease buyout. Otherwise that is so far below invoice.....invoice is like 49k on an AWD GT2. So 40k should be obtainable using the lease buyout method. and that is probably before TTL.

Mine was a purchase. I qualified for the conquest, finance cash, and then negotiated the last day of the month for a good dealer discount.

Mine was an outright purchase. No previous owners. From what I understand, they have to sell through Stingers to get some more. Sometimes, the prices points on the GT2's are too high for a lot of people and most people just settle on the GT, since the price is really good and all the amenities can be done without. My first Stinger was a GT. I bought my second one (GT2) for just 500 more than I paid for the first one.

End of September should be a good opportunity...it’s end of the quarter and the 20’s are hitting the lots. You could also negotiate them offering more on your trade. I think they offered me $1500 more on my trade than KBB.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Many extras are worthless, but the tech and upgrades on the GT2 is mostly usefull. The 360 camera is necessary due to the lack of visibility from the hatch. It is hot and humid here in Texas, but with the windows down, moonroof open the cooled seats make for a perfect climate to enjoy the weather.

I had to have the red Nappa leather and upgraded stereo. White was my second color choice, but you can't go wrong with white.

My car came loaded. I paid $41.5k (plus ttl) and car had 1500 miles but sold with full warranty starting when I took delivery.

Some say I should have gotten another $1k off. However, why would I turn down a car that is perfect for me, has everything I want over a measly $1k?

I am glad I bought her. She was easily worth the money all day every day.

I am picking up a '18 GT2 with 16k miles for 39 this week. I really want the silver and red color combo & and this one also has some BS included. The windows are tinted, many logo replaced, new tires, and a K&N intake. Claims to be all certified and dealer warranty.

I had the same thoughts about the best deal possible and decided not to loose sleep over 1k

I guess it was leased internally at the dealer.

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like a reasonable attitude to me. :)
