Hey guys, there is pretty close to 0 activity on the Genesis forum, so I'll see what I can learn/get inspired by over here.

I bought my G80 Sport just over a year ago and now that we are out of the winter, I've finally got around to changing a few things. I installed the JB4 (running E85 mix), BMS Catch Can, Fuel-it Ethanol Analyzer over the last few days and about a month ago had Velgen VF5's (20x9 front 20x10.5 rear) installed.

Have had the car paint corrected and ceramic coated.

Would now like to install front/rear sway bars and big brake kit (if such things even exist for the G80).

What, no G70/80 enthusiasts?

Is installing the rear sway on the G80 as much of a whore as it is with the stinger?

With AWD, probably a bigger whore.

The stinger has fuel lines directly in the way of the rear driver brackets. Need some strange tools with articulation to get at the bolts.

oofta. Well, I'm no mechanic and no easy access to a lift, so it maybe something I have to outsource (may as well have them knock out brakes while it's in the air).

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
For some reason G80 drivers are reluctant to add performance modifications. Much more so than the Stinger, G70, and other Korean performance luxury cars.

I'm a fan of the Stinger, but I fell in love w/ the G80 Sport (specifically in white) when I saw my first one back in 2017 when leasing my 2nd Hyundai. Was going to originally get the G90 (and would have done the same available upgrades), but I was afraid it wouldn't fit in my garage. In hindsight, it would have it into my garage and kind of wish I had a newer G70 and an 18/19 G90.

Howdy cousin. You took a while to make your first post. :P Good hunting.

Nice ride and it's looking sharp. We don't mind bringing in what's basically family lol. Surprised the G family is non-existent. So welcome...

I'm sure as the Gs get older and younger folks start getting them used the activity will increase.

Or they'll just keep coming here cause we are so darn awesome!

I actually considered getting a new G70 before I bought my Stinger. The new G70 is badass and just gorgeous, but I looked for the longest and could never find one.

Congrats on picking one up, it's really a nice ride! I also had an opportunity to drive the K900, with it's updated tech but I passed on it as I felt they could have done a better job with the sound insulation. It wasn't at the level of the G80, well the ones we got in the US anyway. For the price of the G80 or close, they could have done more to make it really have that luxury feel. I know they don't want to outdo Genesis but the K900 is supposed to be like the G90, the new one was like a short wheelbase G90, they could at least make it compete with the G80 to feel like a top tier car, above the Stinger. I didn't get that feeling from it. The G80, I felt was the better of the 2, even though the tech was older.

I was on the fence for the G80 Sport and was close to pulling the trigger but after seeing the Stinger and hearing the performance specs, I waited. When it was available for a test drive, I took out a G80 Sport first to see how they compared. I really liked the G80 Sport as it was really a more luxurious ride, had a spacious interior and trunk, while having nicer interior materials, with a quieter cabin. The Stinger wasn't far off in material quality but the sport seat, upgraded tech and overall drive performance won me over.
