2 weeks--owner of a micro blue gt--people just stare!!

long may the staring continue! we are a funny bunch here in the UK. we will admire from afar but will rarely approach someone in person to compliment them on their car. I get loads of stares from people, but no one has approached me to ask about the car, other than colleagues at work. maybe i'm just scary looking!

throw some fish 'n' chips in there with a sign , ''free'' then see what happens.....

That would be annoying. You should just say, I love the car but its a Kia not a Ferrari. I even replaced the badge to this ugly "E" thing because I was ashamed.

Dude for real?! If I were embarrassed too own, I wouldn't of bought it,your statement sounds like (I made a mistake buying a brand that is inferior but bought it anyway). I will give you this , The badge ''KIA''is changed more times than a 20 dollar bill in a 5 dollar whorehouse, but embarrassed by the brand.....c'mon no you're really not!

Relax, its a joke. The KIA owner inferiority complex is a real thing and its a fun to poke at it. Changing all of the KIA badges on day one is a classic symptom.

I just changed mine because I like how they marketed it in Korea. That's what I tell people too.

I too have had many looks and stares and comments. Car being bright yellow seems to stand out more in the sea of black white and silver in AZ. Took car to Lo Jolla last weekend and no sooner then i get the kiddo strapped into the stroller and across the street do i turn around and see someone taking pics of the car. Wife never believed me until she saw this and just starting laughing.

So i snapped a pic of him snapping my car!

I'm not gonna lie, there was a guy in a yello camaro the new ones, he had a yellow fold up chair,a yellow feather duster, a yellow micro fiber towel, yellow shirt, shorts....this guy was yellow as yellow gets!

The color definitely helps. I love parking my Micro Blue outside sometimes and just seeing people walk by in amazed confusion.

A truck driver hit his brakes and honk at me today just so he can give me a big thumbs up with a big smile on his face. I hat to admit it but, I'm loving the attention and the heads turning for this car.

A short time later..... we were leaving chik fil a parking lot and a guy walked by and asked what car it is. My eager wife said kia stinger. The man was like "that's a really sharp looking car. I like it". I politely said thank you.

Think would look even better if the door handles were the same color as the trim.

The 2.0's have off color door handles and i actually prefer the body colored ones. I do wish the back ones had pocket lights and unlock/lock buttons integrated like the front do.

I suppose it looks ok here...
