2 Offers, Demo vs Clean- Which One Do I Take?

I disagree with the AWD and snow comment. RWD in snow is no big deal (same with FWD) for many, if not most, people. If you live in very snowy regions, yeah. But if you see a little snow and live in a metro area that gets cleared? It's a nothing burger.

Winter tires are a much better investment.

I dropped the Firestones off of it the day after I took delivery for a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3+; these tires can take more than the car can give. I have yet to find the point were the tire says it has had enough.
100% agreed. LOVE those tires.

Michelin has upgraded them a bit to the Pilot Sport A/S 4 now.

The A/S3+ is a known entity right now. I know what to expect from them. When it comes time to replace the tires I will look at the track record/history on the 4s and see if the change is a good one. Tire companies have a history of taking a great tire and making changes for the better but turn out to be a detriment versus the previous model.

I'm not a huge fan of buying demo vehicles, especially a performance vehicle. That's like getting a hot new girlfriend, knowing your buddy already you know what her. lol.
Although a tad offensive, this analogy works 100%. lol

I wanted to applaud Adam's replies in this thread, very thorough and most importantly spot on. They were clearly not intended to call anyone (other than the dealer) out, and provided fair insight to how that particular deal was being manipulated by the dealership.

If it were me, avoid the demo. Not worth the extra savings now to 'pay for it' later. I doubt anyone driving that car as a demo treated it with kid gloves. That abuse will most certainly rear its ugly head when you least expect or welcome it.

Love this! Hah! Although in this case I think the 1k miles is more like a first date that didn't go anywhere beyond a good night hug and an incorrect phone number given.

Ground clearance is probably almost as important too. Nothing you do to the Stinger will give it proper ground clearance for a real heavy snow.
