2.5T Exhaust options?

Pretty new to the site, but not finding much about the 2.5T in general, who makes an aftermarket exhaust for the 2022 base engine, if any at all?

Wow how prices have changed. Cat back invidia q300 for the G37 was around $900 shipped back in 2012.

We do not have any audio clips yet. Hopefully, someone is able to make a sound clip soon. Ya, the economy has changed quite a bit since 2012 and EVC Exhausts are going to cost a bit more but they offer a lot more practicality.

I’m in the same boat as the OP. I’d really like to make mine a little louder but the $2000+ for the JunBl is way outside of my budget at this point.

I’m thinking about buying some universal (possibly Magnaflow) and finding someone to make an axle back system.

It’s too bad no one makes an axle back for the 2.5T

Yeah so far not a lot of parts for the 2.5. Kind of strange since it's better in every way compared to the old two point slow and that had more options.

I have reached out to Magnaflow to see if they have anything in the works for the 2.5. I also inquired about compatibility with the 2.0 and 2.5. Both systems look very similar.

How about the Magnaflow xMOD universal muffler system? I have asked Magnaflow it they'll fit but they can't confirm. If the xMOD mufflers fit, that could be a great solution. 3 options for the exhaust note and likely wouldn't be too pricey to have a shop fabricate an axleback. Any thoughts?

New Stinger owner...

My guess is just timing, right? How long has the 2.5L even been an option in these cars? It was new for the 2022 model year, correct? If so, I would just give it some time. I am looking forward to something as well, but not willing to shell out over $2k for a replacement.

Hasn't the 2.5T been out since last summer, isn't that long enough for someone to bring something to the table? It's pretty clear it'll be around for at least 1 more cycle, so that could be around 10k GT-Lines with the 2.5T before Kia hangs it up for the Stinger...?

Could be. I am the wrong guy to ask.

But even if its from the past summer, that is really not all that long for parts development, quality control, packaging, etc. that goes into releasing a new part.

Have 23 Stinger 2.5t Gt Line. Bought 2 Universal Valvetronic mufflers $550 with 50 off for veteran. Took it to exhaust shop and they said they have NEVER had a valvetronic system install well and only had a few. Tech spent 2 hours trying to figure out a clean install. Then he said it would be $850 !

I said nope. I would be at $1,400 plus tips around $1,600 ish. Didnt do it.

I dont know why there not ANY sound clips of my engine or reviews with the AFE Gemini cat back $1700 and only 1 sound clip of the Jun BL cat back $2,800.
