Hi Everyone, first post and new member. My apologies in advance if this has been covered however, I've searched the forum for information on this with no luck. I have a 2023 GT Line 2.5L and want to install an oil catch can. I contacted ADD W1 and they only have this for the 2.0 and 3.3 not the 2.5L. I've installed one on an Audi and my F-150 turbo but when I pop the hood on this car, it might as well be open heart surgery - either I'm scared of it or simply overthinking it but I can not discern the PCV hose to the Intake Manifold. Please help. I should add that i've already purchased the ADD W1 V3.

Thank you!

Surprised no one has chimed in on this. Sorry I can't help you as I have the 3.3.
You should be able to trace it. I'd start with seeing where those 2 rubber hoses go coming off the intake near the air box. Hard to tell from the pics.

I appreciate you replying. I've checked out a couple of 2.0 entries and believe I may have it figured out. Since they're both 4 cyls, it can't be too different. I'm going back under the hood this weekend to take your advice and start back tracing.. Wish me luck LOL.

Well, I kinda went through this one a bit myself months ago when I picked up my 2.5T, and opinions may differ…the 2.5T has both port injection and direct injection, this keeps the intake valves cleaner than the other engines with only direct injection. Many might agree…or disagree, that an OCC is NOT as important in the 2.5T, unlike the 2.0/3.3s. But you already got it, so might as well.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
That makes sense. That’s guys for the replies. I’m sure you’ll see me posting more nonsense questions.

I would agree if it's port injected as well, no need. I wasn't aware the 2.5 on the Stinger had both systems - that's good.
I'm still learning too, so question: on the KIA website a 2023, K5 GT 2.5T shows fuel delivery system as both GDI and PI, but on the Stinger Fuel delivery it only shows GDI. Wonder why it wouldn't be listed as PI too? Maybe it's listed somewhere else I missed?

It's port and direct, it's a very good engine. Maybe not quite as good as the 3.3, but way better than the 2.0, because of the power AND the other features like PI, efficiency, water-to-air intercooler, etc. No reason for a catch can.

The water cooled intercooler is nice, but looks like it has to come out to change the drive belt.
