I'm trying to replace the stock HB3 halogens with a whiter light to match the LED DRL rings. Any recommendations without making the HID or LED conversion? Thanks.

You're probably going to have trouble finding something that puts out decent light while having a color temperature as cool as the LEDs.

You could move to HIRs (9011 replaces 9005/HB3), which will be certainly be brighter and probably a little whiter. You just have to trim a notch on the base of the bulb and it will fit right in. I did the HIR conversion in my Regal and Vette and it's certainly an improvement over the old 9005/9006s.

I can't speak to the headlamp unit in the Stinger as I have the factory LED, but I've converted close to a dozen "traditional" vehicles' headlights to HID and more recently LED, and been very happy with the results. If you're technically competent, you don't need to spend a ton of $$ with those "specialty lighting" stores. In fact, the worst experiences I've had was going that way early on. I source my parts from eBay or Amazon after doing my research.

Thank you for your input. Would these headlights be a plug and play once the tab is corrected? No need for a ballast?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Yep, they're still halogen and the same wattage.

Yes, they are plug and play. I've installed them on my base stinger.

Phillips Diamond Vision bulbs are very close, I would check them out, they are more common in Europe but I found them on Amazon

Philips Diamond Vision 5000K Ultimate White Halogen Bulbs (9006 HB4) Pack of 2
Would the 55w cause the use of a ballast to not have any flicker or cause the system to say my bulb is out?
Yep, they're still halogen and the same wattage.
Thank you! I'll give this a try.

It's because those are 9006s. 9005s/9011s are 65w. You generally want to avoid colored glass, since it means that other, usable light is being filtered by the glass (leaving only the blueish/whitish light). Granted, I have no experience with those Philips bulbs.
