Hi guys,
Today i noticed a backfire after I hit full throttle during the upshift, I think this is the second time it happend and I'm affraid of destroying the car :p
Could it be the sparkplugs or something?
I have the following mods: catback exhaust, k&n intake and occ's

Thanks for the help:)

Violent backfire? Or just a "put putter" kind? Because as I understand it the latter, mild kind won't indicate engine damage. The violent explosive kind means engine damage is potentially very real.

You modding types have all kinds of trials to endure. Glad I don't want any of that.

May your mods work for you and may your issues in pursuit of perfection be resolved along the way!

I'm just wondering why you would install catch cans on a car with just intake and exhaust... Either way it is most likely nothing

It was a real violent one, didn't sound right at all, a gunshot like sound...
As far as I know an intake and catback can't do any harm to an engine

I'm doing this to keep the engine a bit cleaner:) after a month driving, I was surprised how much sludge the can kept out of the engine

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Was it definitely from the exhaust end of the car or the intake? I've had cars do both.

I have a 2.0 with similar mods and have had no issues with back fire.
