Hey guys..... gotten everything ready to join the Hive with a AWD white with red interior GT2 2019.....hard to come by combo especially in South Florida.

I've located about 6 or 7 nationally then along came the problem child: 2hrs away a Dealership's GM turned one with 750mi on it but upgraded wheels , tinted windows and a rear deck spoiler.....things I'd planned on doing. They have it listed at 45,900 but according to the salesperson I spoke with, there is no wiggle room especially due to the upgrades....

In Georgia and North Carolina I found dealers that offered lease incentives of 9500 and 11,000 respectively for brand new models...

I'd then need to either powder coat the stock wheels or upgrade plus add tint and spoiler(minor details)

Both are in excess of 700mi from me vs. the 2hr drive....

What say you friends?

I had somewhat of the same dilemma, one was a 7 hour drive and one was local with 200 miles on it. The local one was the only one nationwide with the color combo I wanted(Panthera Metal with light interior GT2). The GM drove it for a week until his ceramic silver GT2 came in. I got a signed buyer’s order from a couple of folks and worked hard on the prices. The local dealer matched it and threw in a couple of things. I didn’t know it had miles on it until the day before I went to buy it. Inspected it thoroughly and it didn’t have a single sign that anyone drove it. Sure I’d prefer 2 miles vs. 200...but the powertrain warranty will survive beyond my anticipated 5 years of owning it. Last few cars I bought were used. First new car in over a decade for me. Work the GM driven car on the price and go buy it.

Truly don't mind the miles....they have it as CPO having powertrain warranty but I'm not seeing standard warranty 5/60k.....young sales guy says they won't move on price due to upgrades....I'll ring GM tomorrow and thanks for the support

Yeah deal directly with the GM or sales manager. I had one guy at a random dealer tell me they had 0 rebates and firm price was $52,000. Interesting they have it as CPO vs new.

Don't believe it. He's simply using that as a tool to try and finesse a higher price. Adding non-OEM options that are subjectively appealing like aftermarket wheels and a spoiler is actually limiting the market.

The car is being sold as a used, previously titled vehicle with non-trivial mileage, and as you say, AWD is not in high demand in that part of the country. They'll negotiate ...

Odd that you can't find them. Here in the Tampa area when I purchased in March 4 dealers had white with red interior all with different added options. I ended up with a RWD White with Red and Puddle lights and Remote Start. I was on the fence spending the extra for AWD and wonder if I will ever reget that decision, but maybe that's the difference maybe AWD is harder to find.

Gt2 AWD impossible to find in our state....one new I believe

Wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. Wait for a new one.

For me, with purchases like this, I try avoiding finding myself saying the following words.. “ I WISH I WOULD HAVE”. If you want.. and can make it happen - make it happen. Enjoy your car - whichever one you get! And welcome to the Stinger group. We still are the few (and I like it that way), but we are the PROUD! Represent. db

Yeah ,the CPO is out as they claim no room to reduce the price....got to lease quotes : 40,800 and 42,100 plus tax...
Gotta compare everything in each listing

Actually having FUN!

I purchased using the Costco auto buying program. With that, I knew the cost before stepping on the lot. Took $54k down below $47. Dealers still try to add to that, but you can certainly stop that in its tracks. An option to consider.....
