I'm thinking about adding hubcentric spacers to my car and I'm considering either 15mm or 20mm. Does anyone know if 15mm spacers will fit with the stock 19" wheels? I heard that 20mm spacers fit for sure.

BONOSS has 15mm and 20mm while GarageLine has only 20mm, both are high quality.

I use 20mm myself with stock 19 rims

My winter 18 steelies DO NOT FIT with the spacers, as the steel wheels do not have provisions (cut outs/pockets) for the OEM studs to fit in, since they protrude through the spacers. (I could cut the length of the original studs, but I don't want to.

The OEM rims have nice deep pockets between the studs, so the 15mm spacers should work, if you want only a 15mm spacer.

And I verified the spare tire also has similar provisions.

Thanks for the detailed reply, the wider track looks really nice on the car! The pictures help me visualize how the 20mm should look. Has your handling changed any? Can you still drive the car hard with the spacers?

I should have mentioned that I have a 2022, so the wheel design is different. Hopefully, the wheel pockets are just as deep.

Handling... It's probably all in my head but I swear I could feel the wider track in a good way. Otherwise the car drives as good or better. I found no detrimental affects over the last year with these 20mm spacers.

As for your rims... They "probably" have the pockets between the studs. Easy enough to look.

If I was choosing between 15mm and 20mm spacers... I would choose 20mm again.

After seeing your pictures, I'm siding with 20mm. Thanks again!

20mm looks perfect on rear stock wheels. Front stock wheels it pokes out too much. Better served with say 5mm hubcentric spacers for front stock 19" wheels. That's what I'm currently running during winter.

5mm hubcentric spacer?

Do you have a link to the spacer?

They are absolutely hubcentric. What makes you say they are not? At 5mm, you won't have a lip like you do from 10mm and greater. Don't need a lip to be hubcentric.

they are not.

They have no provisions to center the wheel along the hub axis. Those are just generic spacers that "fit" over the hub.

The spacer itself is hubcentric - but it fails to align the only important part (the wheel) with the hub centerline

You are contradicting yourself. You say they are not but follow with "The spacer itself is hubcentric". That's what I said. Maybe I should have been literal and said "Hub Centric to Vehicle Hub" as opposed to "Hub Centric to Vehicle and Wheel Centric to Wheel" (which I have never seen in 5mm size).

the spacer itself would be centered on the hub - true
the wheel - would become centered on the studs alone - not hub centric.

Hub centric spacers need to be both centered on the hub & equally importantly -they must center the wheel on the hub centerline as well. If the spacer does not allow for the wheel to be centered on hub centerline - they are just generic spacers - and they are stud-centric to the wheel

Yes. I should have been explicit in my hubcentric meaning for the 5mm ones.

With 5mm all the force of wheel is against the wheel studs as there is not enough hub lip to protrude into wheel.
As for 15mm I do not know anyone that has tried but do not believe there is enough cut out depth in back of wheel for the stud very close but believe the stud would have to be cut off 2 or 3 mm.
I was going to try 15mm with longer studs but can't remove studs without pulling the hub off.

Imma go with 2 pairs of 20mm spacers, I think it'll look fire.

Does your spare, when flipped over somewhat match the factory stock rims with the dark gunmetal color?

You weren't asking me, but I believe all stinger spares are black.
