$100 Reward

$100 for the first person to send me a video, VIA EMAIL, of their TUNED* Stinger running the 1/4 mile at a legal race track in under 12.4 seconds with the time clearly indicated on the track. I want to see the lights lit up at the end showing the time.

* By tuned I mean chipped or ECU tuned - not just exhaust, intake or anything like that. I want to see a tuned Stinger run the 1/4 mile.

I don't care about 1/4 mile runs already posted on the internet.

If you cannot get better than a 12.4 second quarter mile than I'm not interested.

The video cannot already be posted on YouTube. I will post it at our YouTube channel.

No, you keep the rights to your video. I just want to be the first to post it. I will also continue to offer this reward for higher achievements. But we'll cross that bridge when we get to it...

I think with a few mods and our tuning solution that should be doable. My guess is you would need to be over 400whp to hit those times based on the wait on the car. Let me talk to my customer and see if he wants to do a bit more to it and hit those numbers.

For a YouTube marketer maybe. Not for me. I have YouTube videos that have been running for years and have never made a dollar off of them. Perhaps because I don't market them - but that's not my concern or motivation for the video.

Even if it were - and I made a lot of money on it - why would it matter? You could download the video, share it in your own account, market it - and earn. I don't own the rights to it. It's just a video. Worst case scenario and the thought of me potentially earning more than I'm paying for it - you could always just not send me your video.

Hehehe hard to do .... but try to get your hands on say a moitié-moitié fondue made of half gruyère fribourgeois and half vacherin fribourgeois .. both AOP source controlled. You'll be in heaven.

Even if it were - and I made a lot of money on it - why would it matter? You could download the video, share it in your own account, market it - and earn. I don't own the rights to it. It's just a video. Worst case scenario and the thought of me potentially earning more than I'm paying for it - you could always just not send me your video.

you should consider doing the marketing for the video. Any viewer who watches a stinger video can be exposed to ads for kia accessories and/or your forum, perhaps -- this can be done within the video (ad-overlay) or you can do things like retargeting etc. You don't have to run ads against the video (pre-roll) and this can be done separately.
Similarly, visitors to the forum can be 're-engaged' with relevant advertising next time they're on YT -- especially if it's a Kia dealer/vendor trying to sell services specifically for Kia [Stinger] owners.

And re: monetization, beware of the 3 strike policy, which can threaten the entire YT account in the event there's a claim against the video, including claim against content within the video. I was just curious about the use-case for adsense, is all...but from a marketing perspective, there's a lotta' things that can be done.

I'll do something or other but if it earns more than a few cents, literally a few cents, it'll be my highest earning YouTube video...
