1/8th tank factory power reduction

Directly from their site since you won't read the email they sent to me...........

10. Low fuel torque limits increased to standard limits, so you can run at 1/8 of a tank when at the drag strip. This will not stop the factor fuel system from running out of fuel, or the fuel basket from getting sucked dry (fuel basket is the reservoir inside your fuel tank).

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
You would think that thousands of people would be on here complaining if there cars were reducing performance when the tank hits 1/8 of a tank.

aaaaaaaand.........

Crickets.
So you think Damn Fast DD is lying?

Tork is like a political figure.
Incredibly polarizing.
I think they will imply things to make their product appear better.
Again, how many stingers have been sold? How many have complained about performance changes when a tank of gas hits 1/8?

this forum would be riddled with livid owners. Come on.

I can’t speak for anyone else’s car. However, my best 0-60 mph time with my Stock 2019 RWD GT2 Stinger was achieved with “9 miles to empty” showing on the gauge and 87 Octane in the tank. It was a cool evening so 93 Octane wasn’t necessary with my stock engine.

Now, 4.59 0-60 mph isn’t the best a stock car has ever achieved but it isn’t bad. If it had been reducing performance it would have been a whole lot longer than that.

I don’t know what happens once you modify the engines but I can unequivocally say that my stock engine has performed the same regardless of how much fuel was in the tank.

Here is my best dragy result with an extremely empty tank. I immediately went to go get gas right after this and I almost ran out of gas.

I can only speak for my non modified 2018 Stinger GT...there is NO standard reduction in "power at 1/8 of a tank". I do not race, but I also do not worry about filling it up before it hits 1/8 and it operates as normal.

I agree with you. I have tested above and below with dragy and there is no difference
