Yeah it was in park.....Did you take that log in park? Your speed went from all of 0mph to 0mph, not to mention the pedal and throttle position didn't hit more than 50% through the entire thing.
I mean, that's your problem then, the car doesn't build boost in park. The only reason you see 0.2psi in a small section is because that is the increase in air from the engine sucking it in itself.Yeah it was in park.
Even driving it builds no boost, the BOV never even actuates.I mean, that's your problem then, the car doesn't build boost in park. The only reason you see 0.2psi in a small section is because that is the increase in air from the engine sucking it in itself.
You can build boost in park. Not peak boost, but a lot more than 0.2.I mean, that's your problem then, the car doesn't build boost in park. The only reason you see 0.2psi in a small section is because that is the increase in air from the engine sucking it in itself.
really? ive never seen the car build boost in park, no matter how much I rev it.You can build boost in park. Not peak boost, but a lot more than 0.2.
I've had this happen when the car senses a problem. It's usually air/fuel ratio the ecu doesn't like and has happened to me after a WOT. More common for me when it's been colder weather (below 50 degrees). What other mods do you have?Even driving it builds no boost, the BOV never even actuates.

Typhoon intake, correct plugs, and the JB4.I've had this happen when the car senses a problem. It's usually air/fuel ratio the ecu doesn't like and has happened to me after a WOT. More common for me when it's been colder weather (below 50 degrees). What other mods do you have?
Does it have the JB4 fuel wires? Those were causing a problem for me, once I disconnected them my issue went away.Typhoon intake, correct plugs, and the JB4.
It doesn’t have the fuel wire bridges, but the wires with taps into the O2 wires.Does it have the JB4 fuel wires? Those were causing a problem for me, once I disconnected them my issue went away.
I don't think you're really building boost there, just slamming the throttle shut which lets your (very minimal) intake flow spike the pressure momentarily. With no load on the engine, you just don't have sufficient airflow to really spool up.
I can't hold boost like I would be able to in drive, but here's a video from my driveway. You'll see that it repeatedly hits 10+ psi. Honestly I think I was just bored that day. Was December 2021, so please forgive for not remembering exactly why I was out there. I usually take a staycation around that time of year.
Are you referring to either of these? It doesn’t have the fuel wire bridges, but the wires with taps into the O2 wires.
I agree with you. It would have been better to have used a different phrase when I was answering.I don't think you're really building boost there, just slamming the throttle shut which lets your (very minimal) intake flow spike the pressure momentarily. okay I got rid of the fuel wires, installed the OEM bov’s the oem valves worked for two seconds and now I’m back to not producing any boost.I agree with you. It would have been better to have used a different phrase when I was answering.
The problem that OP is describing I have had however, where you're not even able to see throttle closure as you're seeing in my video. I did acknowledge in my answer that this is different than what you would see while being in drive. I got rid of fuel wires and problem disappeared.
Does it sound like the waste gates are wide open?okay I got rid of the fuel wires, installed the OEM bov’s the oem valves worked for two seconds and now I’m back to not producing any boost.
Make sure the BOV actuator solenoid is plugged in, there is an electrical connector, and when I first put my GFB BOV's on, I forgot to hook the connector to that solenoid back up, and it wouldn't build boost. Also, make sure the vacuum lines from the solenoid to the BOV is OK and not damaged or leaking.okay I got rid of the fuel wires, installed the OEM bov’s the oem valves worked for two seconds and now I’m back to not producing any boost.
