Hey guys just deleted my muffler yesterday and there is a lot of rattling on cold starts and accelerating.
The tech told me this was due to the valve system, therefore to keep it in sport mode at all times.
However, I was wondering if I could just disconnect the system, that is what seems to be the solution for this, from what I’ve found. also, the tech told me if it were routed without the valve the check engine light would come on.

Does anybody have any experience or solutions here, thanks!

Can you post pictures by any chance? How is the valve system hooked up if there are no mufflers to connect it to?

I know at least for mine the 2023 i have, i just left the connectors to the side zip tied them when i got the non valved borla exhaust and i never had any check engine light. You need to keep them wrapped up so they don't get dirty.

Also that's bizzare you don't need to keep the car in sport mode. I did muffler delete and couldnt stand the drone for even 2 days. But i never had any rattles on idling or accelerating. Something must be loose. A hanger or clamp i would think.

Might be coming from the hatch? I had the SSR muffler delete and the rattle from the rear was annoying. Switched to a mbrp catback with exhaust tips and the rattle disappeared.

Honestly these days you can find even a used catback for sale for fairly cheap. Hell i still kept my previous borla catback for 18-21 stingers even tho i have the new borla active catback. I have no idea how people are daily driving with muffler deletes with that insane drone but hey maybe some are done properly with tips so could be wrong.

Hey man thanks for the response!

It was the connectors; easy fix

Awesome glad to hear man! I had this annoying similar sharp rattle like sound too after i was adjusting my tips and it was my clamps and hangers that were loose.
