I saw microblueGT at the cars and coffee meet in a Perth the other day and he spoke about the Kia wiper blades being crappy. He installed some Wipertech blades which do a great job. They look really good and have a low profile, easy to attach.

Interesting, will look forward to seeing those at the next meet. Had my 3k warranty service today. In and out in 45 minutes. The only complaint I had was that it takes ages for the automatic wipers to come on the first time, I usually have to manually start them - what a drag!

They reset the software on them to see if this improves wiper performance.

A few companies in the US make this style of wiper blade. I've been buying the RainX version for years now. I think this style of wiper is THE BEST! They're a little more expensive but worth it.

Yes it's rained twice since I bought the car, but only a little so it will be hard to compare to the ones already on them.

I didn't like the oem wipers for the first 2 rainfalls because they didnt wipe part of the windsheild and they squeaked. But this weekend it rained and both of those issues are gone so I think the blades just needed to be broken in or something.

I'm a big fan of the Michelin blades that Costco sells. They're almost identical to the link OP posted; they work great and they're only $6 each.

I bought the Wipertech blades on advice from others here, but they are still sitting in their box as all the rain hit after I purchased them and I found the ones already on the car to be just fine.
