Stinger vs. Infiniti Q50 Redsport

Welllll...you came to a Stinger forum and posted your opinion as fact, many times. If I did that in a Nissan or Infiniti forum but for the Stinger, I'd get burned, too!

And by the way, I think the Stinger interior blows away the Infiniti and my previous BMW. But like you imply, that's just my opinion, man.

I never stated my "opinions" as facts. Wtf? I left my comment as a comment based on my experiences with both vehicles. Sure - if you went to Infiniti Q forums - you might get burned for some comments. But I would expect everyone to just debate the situation rather than call out a "troll".

The fact is - I get it - you are prideful of your car. The car you spent money on. Everyone wants to buy something they think will look the best in the world's eyes.

I have seen the Straight pipes video. I have seen all the Stinger review videos. Just cause some reviewers on YouTube rav about this car doesn't mean I have to agree with it.

That's totally fine. That's your opinion. But I still think the Infiniti interior is better.
I wanna further discuss this.

Why do I think the Infiniti interior is better?
Better attention to detail. The seats are better snitched. The door panels are better snitched. The center stack is padded with leather/faux leather. Center vents on the KIA is noticeably cheaper. KIA Buttons and dials are noticeably cheaper.
The tech on the Stinger is definitely better but you have to understand the KIA Stinger interior feels cheaper than of the Infiniti. I'm not saying this as an insult to KIA - I'm saying it from my experience.

Besides - BMW interior quality is not good. I can name some Toyota and Honda cars that are built better. MB and BMW build quality isn't good unless you pay premium.

You honestly think the VR isn't a better engine than the VQ? That's crazy talk, honestly. The VQ was amazing and the VR is better. Isn't that how its suppose to be? Improvement over time?

The VR engine is more efficient, has more torque, highly underrated, and more power than the VQ. The VQ might sound better but the VR is definitely a better engine at this time. Its more modifiable. If you ask anyone that bought the Infiniti Q50 3.7 (2014-2015 MY) if they regret not waiting for the V6TT - they will regret it.

And the Stinger interior isn't garbage? Please - open your eyes. The Infiniti Q50 Interior is no beauty queen but don't act like your Stinger is some fancy premium interior. You sit in it - and its noticeable its cheaper. There are bits and tacks that remind you its a KIA still.

I didn't "ride" in both. I drove both for my cousin because he wanted an opinion. I also went on this forum to get more of an opinion on the Stinger. At that time - I decided to leave a comment on my opinions alone.

The VR engine is much better than the old VQ. Its highly underrated. The RS is pushing over 400 BHP.

I don't understand your last statement. Life is too short to buy an Infiniti so you buy a KIA? Is that what you are implying? I'm sorry - life is too short comment applies to probably an Audi R8 or a Lambo.

Funny, I didn't even look at the Infiniti, why? Price and looks. Did look at the Genesis G70 though. Also I don't have any negative opinions of the Infinite or Nissan brand, I have owned both. Z's and SUV's.

We won't agree (and that's ok) because our opinions differ on something as simple as the center vents. I think the ones in the Stinger are fantastic. Smooth but steady movement with a solid click. Nearly every material in the cabin feels premium, except for the lower door pockets. I will say the lower trims with that black glossy plastic look very budget.

Curious, what Audi do you drive? And I'm not baiting you lol just curious.

Had you started a new thread and posted your opinion I believe this would have went down entirely different.

I think the problem is that you revived a thread that hadn't been posted in for over 6 months to confront someone about calling Infiniti "Datsun". Whether you're a troll or not, that gives the perception of you trolling. And as they say, "perception is reality."

I don't think Stinger owners are hard to talk to about cars. I'd question the authenticity of what the Audi forumites are saying, if they are saying Stinger owners are hateful and filled with aggression.

I'm and old guy and need to ask you something, is a Stinger Fanboy negative? I've had 47 cars in my past, most new, most brands. Bottom line for me is when it comes to price, looks, performance and warranty, there is no other car that compares to the Stinger.

I didn't even drive a Q50 for that reason. It might be a great car, but I wasn't impressed with the very first thing I saw. Their engineers must all be 4'10" Japanese midgets.

I just built one comparable to my GT1 with Driver Assist and it looks like the MSRP would have been $10k more and doubt they are discounting theirs like Kia.

And for a bit more - you can be looking at the S5/340i and C43 AMG. The issue here is - at this price point - you will be paying for brand because people at this range look at brand.

But agreed - warranty - KIA has that on lock.

Your post is well-received and the Q50 does lack space and utility. A note I forgot to mention in my post. The Stinger definitely wins in space. However - your racism needs to be noted. Just because a car is cramped and its not to your liking - you shouldn't throw around racist insults at another race. That's low and quite pathetic.

Not sure if you are referencing Infiniti discounts. But if you are, Infiniti discount the Q50 intensively. When I test drove the Q50 RS for my cousin, the first Q50 RS with DSA I drove, the salesperson offered me 49K for it from a price of 61K sticker.
If you lease, you are looking at 0 down and no more than 400/month for a Q50 RS.

OK, I guess I'm not a Fanboy. I paid $38.5 for my GT1 with Driver Assist and RWD which I think compares to your Q50 RS and I think the AMG would be way north of that cost. The top cost for a GT2 AWD in around $52k, still looks like $9k less than the Infinity. I will never look at cars in the $60k price range so Kia fills the gap very well.

I live my life a 1/4 mile at a time. Well I am not Vin Diesel Mmmmm. Soon I will line up with my Nephews RED Sport but he already put a AEM cold air intake on and a cat back. I really don't think he was that impressed with power gains but enjoys the sound. He is Leasing his car also so I don't know if he is going to get a tune. . He just might DRAG my AZZ we will see. waiting for the weather to break
