so far I been lucky, (letting the vehicle) idle and both before and after....what does take a hit irregardless of what I do is the battry...and the way the stinger is on the electrics....I'll be getting another one sooner than later......the battery just has no time to recover in such a short trip, day in day out.....with the hemi (albeit bigger motor) I was swapping batteries every 2.5 years. I had that truck for 9 years........I would never drive my car if my work was that close. And even if I did, I'd let it warm up before shutting it down. Short hops, frequent starts and stops on a cold engine, are hell to pay later in wear and tear.
