Seriously though, this car has obviously had a big hit, looking at those pics it’s testimony to the build quality that the cabin are appears to be fully inctact albeit the airbag deployment.

That really sucks. I was impressed with the European crash test results, that's one of the reason's I bought the car.

That pole test is just brutal.

Geeze, that Stinger looks like a giant metal shark tried to chew the back end of it off, gave up and then chomped into the driver's side!

Given the severity of impact(s) that the car suffered, the integrity of the passenger compartment looks relatively uncompromised.

Impressive safety protection, KIA!

I was hit about that hard from the side in my 2011 Sorento, est. 90-100mph closing speed. Hit my door, B pillar, and ripped the rear wheel off, spun me 360º thru a ditch. Not a single mark on me.

Ripped the whole front driver-side corner (including wheel) off his car, he still tried to drive away (DUI)..

One thing I don't worry about in a KIA is safety!

Big hits (plural). I can't even work out an initial impact point - looks like it was hit by a train....

I reckon they've got a fairly good warranty claim on that rear hatch - no way that's not going to squeak.....
