Resonator delete

Got the resonators taken out, will do a couple of runs and report back.

Been driving for a bit, must say I love it. The overall sound has increased but, as Beege posted nothing dramatic. There’s a slight drone at highway speeds but, nothing annoying(don’t notice it when out of sport mode). If your looking for a bit more sound and don’t want anything too crazy or over the top it’s worth it. It’s a quick cheap upgrade and if your good with tools might be able to do it yourself.

Yes, but it’s no good, phone couldn’t handle some of the rev points.

It's really hard to get the sound recorded. Revving in park doesn't do anything.

Glad you like it too. As far as I know, were the only 2 that have done it so far.

yeap. didn't want to make it crazy loud. but I would add some purrrrr more. Is there a way? Maybe some sort of custom resonator?

Soca, sorry I missed your replies before. Ended up taking off the plastidip on the roof. It was too hot and wasn't setting up correctly.

Back onto this thread though. Glad you like it Pash. I really dig the subtle change in sound.

I would like to have a little more rasp though that only shows up during WOT or a little more of a gurgle after letting off the gas.

Any ideas like this resonator delete where we can swap in a larger pipe or something and not introduce any drone at all?

That's what I'm thinking. I know nothing about exhausts) This is my first mod ever. Sounds good, but needs more "rasp and gurgle" definitely

I can take it outside and record sound with no reverberation of a parking lot. But difference is noticable. Car didn't do any of these high pitch sounds before.
