Stinger vs G80 which would you choose

Stinger GT2 for me as it’s a premium vehicle from a non-premium brand. MRSP, taxes, insurance, long-term cost of ownership, maintenance and repairs are less compared to competitors from premium brands.

Yes. I agree. I feel like I'm getting more for my money buying the non luxury branded Stinger than the now luxury Genesis G80. Besides I also like the looks of the Stinger better and the idea of having a hatch is nice. I had one with my 2014 Focus and miss it.
G80 Sport is a slightly bigger, right? The Stinger seems more comparable to the G70. I like the look of both the G70 and Stinger, but the Stinger's shape is a little more unique.
Stinger GT would be a clear #1 if they don't mess it up by cutting out features/colors in the US. However, from what I'm reading here, there's a real possibility that they're going to screw it up and in that case I may just save the $50K and keep waiting for something that ticks all the marks.

Stinger GT2.
I have a Genesis Coupe 3.8 and I absolutely love the car. It's almost paid off and I'm just getting that new car itch. I would have gone with another Genesis car, as I liked it when they spun off the Genesis brand. However, I don't I don't like the look of the new Genesis models, even the G70. Hard to describe, really, but the closest thing I can come to is "snobby". Not because it's become their luxury brand, just that it just makes me think "snobby." The Stinger is pretty much built on the same platform but the design is much different. More sleek, yet agressive. More stylish, yet refined. More (sorry, Mazda) Zoom! Zoom!, yet laid back. I look at the Genesis G70 and I picture the driver pulling up to a corporate party at the CEO's mansion and they all retire to the library and sit in high-backed chairs at the oversized fireplace with their cigars, sipping 100 year old cognac, all the while discussing nothing of importance yet sounding important. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with that but it's not me. That's why you won't see me behind the wheel of some of the "luxury" branded cars. I just don't picture myself behind the wheel of one.

Wow, that's a pretty awesome price. I don't know if a price that good will be available on the GT2 when it first comes out. That would be tempting.
