Oh yes, at least or more than 400 HPs delivered from my GT2 3.3 TT.....without lower the MPG....

But first, the golden rule....that power must be well planted on the ground.
And that's when we have to think about upgrade the suspension and the tires first of all.
I am truly disappointing about the Stinger suspension performance on curves, evasive maneuvers, and passing the speed bumpers with that "float" behavior, even in the Sport mode.
So, I will take for granted (thanks to fellow members of this forum) that I need to replace the springs and sway bars. Maybe in the near future, the adaptative suspension will be tune more stiffier than stock....I hope....
More HPs?...expensive items yet......the safest way, until now...a real CAI plus a catback....maybe 15,20 HPs more??? or the "limbo"way....totally unsafe now (spark plugs issue)????...ECU tune...more than 400 HPs......or the dream combo....real CAI+Cat back+ECU tune......way more tha 400 HPs.

A big turbo upgrade, the intercooler....

I am going to begin with the springs/sway bars and I just replaced the tires for TOYO brand (designed to be used on Mexico roads)....

Oh, and I sent e mails to Kia corporative in Mexico about my suspension concern and solutions.

I think upgrading the springs and sway bars is a smart move, but what key benefit do you see after changing the tires?

...a stickier and wider tires......

i agree with the tires. i am about to change out my tires for some vredsteins. conti's are too greasy when it comes to spirited driving. hey dalgo, have you turned off all the granny programs? adaptive steering, lane watching, etc? first time i was driving the stinger fast, i didn't realize i had lane departure warnings, as the car is coming through a nice wide curve, the steering starts to twitch in my hands. i almost crashed thinking something happened to the front tires.
as for your the spark plug issues, i have the racechip and i had the spark plug issue. turns out that my plugs were gapped larger than what it said in the manual. dealership told me that sometimes someone might be asleep when they are installing the plugs. it will run fine, and they don't notice until the first tune-up. so, with my plugs regapped, the racechip that i have is awesome. cai coming up next. and until a headers back exhaust comes out, i will wait on changing it. suspension wise, it is a gt. it isn't a canyon runner. it is meant for long distance driving, comfort and speed.

I agree that a bit more sway bar would help with the lean in corners, though it never gets to the place you think that amount of body roll might induce, handling-wise. It is a bit unsettling around a corner until you are used to it, but a flatter attitude in the twisties would be welcome.

That said, I agree with @Weareblondi in that I wouldn't want to lose the true GT character of the car. There may be more track-focused versions down the road, but the GT part was one of the circles in my Venn diagram the Stinger nailed. There's also the G70 for more hard core driving near the same price point, but for my needs the car is already 90% there :)

even some of the reviews on the g70 mention that it rides harder and firmer than the stinger gt. i am sure if you are a strapping 19 yr old that would be fine, but my fat a@@ and 50+ yrs old can't handle that much firmness. i will get there by the straightest road possible to make use of the torque. i will leave the curvy roads to the young-ins

I am an "old fart", 64 years old, but I like to drive securely fast, if the term is apply here......I have to drive on a highway from my home to the hospital were I work and viceversa. There are 3 curves bad designed, were I test the suspension handling of the cars I've owned. From VW GTI, Pontiac Firebird Trans am, Nissan Maxima SR. The worst suspension performance on these curves belongs to the Stinger (faster car of all that I've owned) I do not seek a stiffier supension, a seek the feeling that I am in control of suspension.....I hope the progresive springs give me that control.

i agree with you on the driving fast securely, and, i know that there have been some frame braces that i have seen posted on some korean stingers. i think that they have been posted on the forum also. personally, i would change the tires first, turn off the active steering and see if that helps. then i would pay to have the suspension upgraded. for me, turning off the active steering made the car feel tighter in turns because it wasn't trying to correct my steering inputs.

I appreciate your kind advice.

I cant speak much for suspension, but you rarely go wrong with an intake+tune+exhaust. I was an Audi/VW fanboy for 12-13 years before going Kia, and just about every one had that combo.

I've heard good things about Burger Tuning. From what I've read theyre a lot like APR (Audi Performance & Racing) who are a solid tuning company for VW
