Does anyone know how to get the HD Radio Doppler Rader and HD Radio Weather Apps to work? Mine says no information received.

Maybe because it’s Canadian, it’s Canada’s GT Limited which would be a GT2 in the USA.

Those operated when I had Sirius XM...not anymore though since trial period ended....

Update: It’s part of SirusXM traffic service.

I think the problem you're having is that Edmonton doesn't have any HD radio stations yet - Calgary has two HD channels provided by CKRY, but the Canadian markets with this available are few at this time.

Canada Stations

HD Doppler radar works fine on mine, as does the HD radio weather (though for some reason it defaults to Detroit, and I haven't found a way to save Calgary as the default). It does take a little while after starting the car to get the information for either - it first shows the same 'No information received' message.

The two options marked as 'Sirius XM' (Stocks and Sports) don't work as I let the Sirius SM subscription expire at the end of June.

It works in Edmonton, I needed a package.

Was that one of these Sirius XM traffic plans?

I guess they must provide the HD radio feed where the local market doesn't have an HD OTA broadcaster. Thanks for the info - good to know!

The thing is, when you call in some of the people at Sirius call centre just tell you that some of the products aren’t available in Canada, even though it shows it on their web site. Did some research last night trying to find out why it wasn’t working for me. I ended up calling today and had someone every helpful.
