Kia Stinger Owner cops parking ticket while taking delivery.

You read correctly, on the 21st June 2018, Wojtek Jakubiak was taking delivery of his Deep Chroma Blue Stinger GT from his West Ryde Kia dealership in NSW, Australia, according to the photo i have seen his Stinger is parked on the dealership driveway facing the road, with the ribbon still on the front hood, the photo of himself with the car in the background taken at 13.41pm seems to be the exact time a Ryde Council Ranger was issuing a parking ticket at the same moment, i still can not believe it, anyway looks like he has reached out to A Current Affair which he says in a video will be on air in tonight's episode at either 7pm or as he says it 7.30pm Australian Time on Channel 9 / 90 digital, maybe it depends which state you live in, in Melbourne the guide says 7pm.
He is a member of the Kia Stinger Owners Club Australia/NZ on Facebook, his photos and video is posted there, but i think you would need to sign up as a member to access any members posts.

Watched the story on A Current Affair tonight about this Stinger owner, receiving a parking ticket, looks like the Kia dealership will pay for the parking ticket, i also heard the Ryde Council and its Rangers have had an issue with the Kia dealership for some time.

The location of the car is on actual public property, it’s classed as a footpath with driveway access which is owned by the council, so if you park on a driveway from the road to private property that is classed a the footpath & you can get booked for blocking it.....just revenue raising.

I wouldn’t worry the dealer paid the cost cause it was the salesman’s fault for parking it there.
Rangers never around when you need them but always there when you park illegally for a minute, go figure

You can if you are blocking a sidewalk - and the strip of your driveway that would go between the sidewalks is considered part of it.

Warning: You could get a ticket for parking in your driveway

Exactly you cant block a publc way. Your driveway you need to pull all the way in you be good.
