StingerFest is a meet and greet event with vendors, displays, and - depending where we decide to host the event - potentially a race track. The main idea is for all of us to get together. A race track is not the primary reason for the meet - but a very welcome idea if that can work out...

If you absolutely can't make it to one of these locations, please reply letting us know where would be better for you. If we get enough people asking for the same location - we can add it to the poll...

If your looking at Florida, I would consider Turkey Run at the Daytona International Race Track. They do two per year, one is over Thanksgiving holiday. Big car show and saves over 200 miles to Miami.

It would make sense to have it somewhere in the middle of the US in my opinion, so people from both coast lines could potentially make it without having to do a complete cross country road trip. Especially since mileage is going to be a primary concern for a lot of us who are on leases because of the great lease deals they offered.

California went way ahead in the beginning but now CA and IL are tied...

I agree. Closest place on the list is 10.5 hours from me so I'm not even going to mess up the poll by voting.

If enough people recommend the same spot - guess what - we'll be having it there... I didn't even want to insult anyone with a suggestion. I live in the mid-Atlantic. Anything near me would be wayyy out of everyone else's reasonable distance.

For this year we're going to try and work with Kia Motors USA - so I'm going with the options they gave me. Still, when all is said and done, it's about the masses. So if 900,000 people vote for Mexico, it's happening in Mexico.

The Geographic Center of the US is in Lebanon, KS -- Google Maps

Some big cities that are somewhat close are Omaha or Lincoln in Nebraska. In Kansas there's Salina, Manhattan, Topeka, or Kansas City.

Obviously, I'm going to vote for Kansas City, but I would consider a road trip to Chicago or Texas too.
