I love how he superimposes the number "55" over the speedometer when he's speeding.

I wouldn't be surprised if KIA upgrades the badges in a year or two. I get they're trying to change perceptions, but it probably makes sense for them to create a premium brand first. Alternate badges is a good compromise.

You didn't? That is surprising. It was one of the first details I picked up on. Something about "speed limited for the auto ban, to only 167 mph" ... (edit: oh, rev limiter. Is that the same thing, though?)

To be honest, I think they're aiming for the long future (8-10years from now). And I believe with their reliability and innovation the brand will actually change.

(I don't think their aiming the Kia brand to be luxury/premium) I assume their aiming a
Their brand to become the choice of people who are smart, intelligent, insightful and sharp minded.

For E.g; People in the future will know the right choice is always Kia either if you looking for comfort/premium cars or sportish/fastback cars.. this is what I think Kia is trying to achieve.

I don't know what you mean? .. I know that the speed limit is 167 mph.

What I ment was; the vedio mentioned once the car is sport mode and TC Off, the rev limiter goes off when in manual gear changes so you enter the red rev ranges and freely changing gears as you like without the computer intervening and changing the gear by itself.

P.S Now I know why you were suprised because I mentioned speed limiter (when I was wanting to refer to rev limiter)

I’m old enough to have lived through the transition of Volvo. In the 1970’s they started transitioning and repricing their cars upwards. In 1973 my mom bought a Volvo 164, wanting her kids to learn to drive in a safe car. That car cost $6,000. A Cadillac Sedan deVille cost $5,000. A $50,000 Kia?!!!! You must be crazy? Why would you buy that Volvo when you could have had a Caddy? Joe knew and guided Mom to make a better choice for her money. She loved that car until some kid with a learners permit floored his Mustang, in reverse into the parked Volvo. It was never the same after that.

They keyed in 55 in the speedo. LOL
Mexico is a very popular place to do these car videos, I’ve noticed.
