Stinger Girl.

Hold on!!! The Stinger is your first car to drive?!!! You are way ahead! My first car to drive was a '70 Ford Maverick lol! I'm jelly (jealous)!o_O:D Welcome to the hive!

Thank you guys for your encouragement and welcoming responses.

To be honest, I never thought the day I can drive will come ! .. and to begin it with such an amazing car is another dream in itself.

Without my husband's supportive actions and helpful advice, I wouldn't be here where I'm now.

Once again, thank you all for being so nice in sharing your joy with me.

You guys made my day❤️

Congrats Huda!

Both on your upcoming Stinger and your newfound liberty (btw, your English is pretty darn good).

Your hubby being an auto enthusiast, not surprised that he recommended the Stinger.

Even tho being a new driver, can see you hooning the Stinger in no time.

Out of curiosity, how is the Kia (along w/ Hyundai and Genesis) seen in Saudi Arabia compared to American and Japanese brands?

Actually Kia and Hyundai are destroying Toyota, Mazda, Nissan and ford. Genesis on the other hand are ripping the market share of Lexus, BMW and other luxury brands.

Just to throw some facts in there, KIA of Saudi Arabia have won the "Platinum Dealer" (because of their high sales) for seventh consecutive years, 2018 being the seventh.

Hyundai of Saudi's central region have been awarded the best dealer for 4 years, also due to the high sales.

So you can imagine 2 Korean dealers in the same country are winning the worlds best dealers.

But from what I've noticed, the Kia Stinger is not selling that great. I think only 30-50cars sold last year. Our dealer are not trying to push any sales for the Stinger, thus Huda and I faced some poor customers service and lack of stock to choose from.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
@Huda - congrats in advance!! Take it gently. Gently, gently. Both versions of this car have lots of horsepower!! The car I learnt on had probably 1/4 of the horsepower of the 2 Litre version.

Extra power is actually helpful really ... you can get into the gap in traffic etc easily.

Good luck!

Oh I will... my husband keept cautioning me not to push the full throttle on our test drive. But mammy needs her adrenaline rush :P !

That's the whole reason why we chose this car, to unleash my inner demons :P

Can I ask what your husband drives??! He's a good guy evidently!!

Or better still... given this thread is getting some attention, you could make a guessing game of it.
These guys are car guys, so don't give them too much info at a time Start with number of cylinders say, i.e. V8, 4 cylinder etc.

What a great idea @BlackGhost !

Before we begin the game, let me make some facts straight first.
Because I'll be driving soon, we decided to purchase and share the Stinger Gt together, so my husband will sell his car soon in order for us to afford the Stinger comfortably.

you could make a guessing game of it.

Ok let's start this guessing game.. What does my husband drive?

Its a 4-Door/V6/All-Wheel Drive. I know their’s not so much to go on, but you guys will get close.

Hi Huda.

I'm not playing, because I am not a car guy.

The Net sometimes feels almost surreal to my "medieval" mind. ;) Saudi Arabia? A gal with her first car yet to arrive, having her driver's licence still so new it "squeaks"? A Stinger?! Holy crap! You scare me!

Your "inner demon" must take a back seat or else your and your husband's new car will come a cropper. I recommend backing into end parking spots, rather than nose into them. This car's size is deceptively large. You are sitting low. Judging where the rims are is tricky. *sigh!* So, I've taken to backing in. The tilting mirrors and excellent rear camera make maneuvering in reverse easier parking than nose on! Of course, if you are an "ace" driver, this advice will be unnecessary.

Here are MerlintheMad's Six Rules for Defensive Drivers:

1. Always devote as much conscious attention to your driving as required. I would say at least half of your brain power at all times. Reduce multitasking.

2. Never follow too closely. Be generous in the allowance of space between your car and the vehicle you are following.

3. Reduce speed to existing conditions. This means never use cruise control in slick or icy or restricted visibility conditions.

4. Check your mirrors often. The idiots behind you will pose your greatest risk that you have zero control over.

5. Never perform sudden, unsignaled maneuvers. Always be where other drivers expect you to be.

6. Check for side traffic, and double check, before pulling out into traffic or changing lanes.

I keep things intresting, this is avideo of the car.. the whole car is stock including the Exhaust. Let’s see what you guys are made of, saying you’re car enthusiasts.

That sounds like Mercedes C class AMG

Based on the sound I'm thinking its German. Audi or Mercedes most likely. Possibly one of Audi's "R" or "RS" models. And maybe something from AMG as Rob says.

Whatever it is I bet it has bi-modal exhaust.

I can relate to what you are saying, it is truly a dream come true for me.

No need for all of that, I will just park in the middle of the parking lot and let my husband Park the car for me. :P

Thanks for the 6 rules.. I'll print them out and keep them on the sun shades. It will remind me to always follow them. Thank you so much for the advice. It means a lot.

Your guess is close in terms of Exhuast sound.. it kinda sounds like an AMG.

Your the closest one so far, but it's non of the manufacturers you've mentioned.. but close enough;)
Whatever it is I bet it has bi-modal exhaust.
It is the car's stock exhaust.. I just doubled checked with my husband:thumbup:
