Hi from Australia.
Had my GT for about 6mths now and to be honest it's not what I expected. I love driving the Stinger - it goes great but build quality has been a major let down. I've come from prev owning euros and Lexus. I have trim pieces fall off/come loose, rattles from drivers door, trunk and now centre console. Been back to dealer 3 times who fix things but they keep coming back. Now to make things worse the diff has developed a troubling whine noise. Dealer says "it's normal"! It wasn't there for the first 9000km. Hopefully things improve.

I’ve had mine since Nov.17 with 8,700kms no issues to report.

7,500 miles here, tight and solid as new.

Well at least you didn’t get a bmw. Lol!

Or a Lexus?

Or a Mercedes?

Can you supply pictures? I find it hard to imagine you have trim pieces "falling off" under 10k.
I don't have any at the moment as they have been replaced but will take some when they reappear. In the below CarAdvice article they have had almost the same issues.

Horror stories! I suppose any out there, will find their way here. We cross our fingers when we pull the trigger, don't we? Hopefully you can eventually get rid of the "lemon" and get one that doesn't sound like it is trying to fall apart. There are always a few cars that don't measure up. I don't believe that your experience is typical of the Stinger population.

I hope it isn't typical either but bit of a coincidence that I am having same issues as the CarAdvice vehicle

When did your first squeaks, rattles and falling off bits start to happen? How far in?

You know you also have 7 years warranty.

Are you saying I am going to need every bit if those 7yrs?
No, I’m saying you get 7 years that will cover most if not all issues of the like you have experienced & Kia will fix so you get piece of mind for 7 years.

They have neglected to "fix" the diff that has become noisy..
Have they inspected it? What was their response? Ask for a written engineers report.
