So my insurance company just broke the bad news....my annual premium for the Stinger GT is going UP 153.00 per year (total 618.00 per year) over my 2016 Camaro SS (455 HP)!! WTF! I am 45 years old BTW. I am waiting to hear what the explanation is. Are you guys seeing high rates to insure these cars? I paid less insurance for a Corvette a few years back. Guess it is time to go insurance shopping.
You probably already know this, anytime I change my car/address I drop the current policy and start a fresh. In my experience swapping a car always results in a relatively more premium hike.

Your insurance cost sounds good to me. Here in Florida, sounds like we are higher than other locations. Just got my 6 month quote, $707 for six months. Investigated a quote from Travelers and it was $1,000 for six months. Staying with Allstate.

Dear god, i'm $720 in California 6 month premium and thats with two cars! I remembered when I switched off my parents way back when and reached out to state farm, it was $3100 a year... no accidents under 25 though. Obviously didn't take that offer as every place was easily less than half but goddamn i'll never forget the woman attempt to tell me that number with a straight face.

I did not know this. I have had the same insurance company/policy for a couple decades, this is the first time I feel like I am getting raked over the coals. Thanks for the tip.

Mine with GEICO, went DOWN $70 every six months. Had a Cadenza prior. But, I’m going to shop around for another company, as $1800 a year for a GT2 and a 22 year old F-150 is ridiculous. Maybe, need to check.

$618 for 12 months?? what are your coverage maximums/deductibles? I pay about $600/6months for $250 comp/ $500 collision deductibles : $100k/$300k bodily injury liability; $100k property damage; $50k/$100k UI; $50K PIP. I'm 45yrs old as well.

I will be paying about $700 for six months for the same coverage, 79yrs old in Florida. Mine went up $61 over a 2017 Santa Fe Sport, good driving record with 12k miles per year.
There is another thread on insurance.. But, mine went up massive such that I will take any and all of the above rates.. I'm 49 married with 2 teenage driving age kids.. went from 600/700ish for a subaru legacy to 1100+ for stinger for 6 mos. I shopped around but kept getting similar quotes (in ohio).

daaaaamn!!!! im in florida also, geico for years, 100-300 because we own properties, full everything on both cars we pay 532 for 6 months. and we are both over 50. i would definitely shop around. try esurance or something. thats crazy.
