.....so was thinking. .....Always an expensive thing for me. Wouldn’t be fairly simple to go to good upholstery shop and just have them cover cheap plastics in leather? Was thinking b pillar , back of seats maybe steering wheel center.
Would class up the joint. As a Porsche owner I know many of “expensive “ trim pieces in Porsche are just plastics with leather glued over pieces. So was thinking why not just get thin leather pieces stretched and glued on to crap looking bits.
And where are carbon fiber guys when you need them? The other option would be to swap out said cheap plastics with CF panels made to replace OEM plastics.
And don’t laugh but even considering some high quality carbon fiber wrap that I might just cut and apply . I have some pretty high quality wrap I bought for race car to save paint in high traffic areas. Stuff looks decent.
I’m not one to usually mod my interior but Kia really did injustice to this car with some of cheap plastic.
