Two red Stinger GTs (Home Market) were part of the large Kia presence at the Orange County International Auto Show in Anaheim, CA. No real news from the company reps but there was a large 'color board' display that included the Stinger and some swag. Photos to follow:

This is my surprised face at the lack of Lake Stone, Sunset Yellow, and Deep Chroma Blue.

I find it somewhat unbelievable that they would stock the US with “photo op” cars in a color that they will not offer here.

That would either be mean, dumb or both.

I am holding out hope that more rational and customer oriented minds will prevail soon. There are too many rumored permutations to fully trust any for now- or at least that’s what I am telling myself.

That panthera metal is a good second choice is chroma blue is in fact not available.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Maybe not surprised, but disappointed at the lack of Lake Stone. Is it really so much to ask to be able to get a car in the states that's not just a direct shade of grey, or a typical red or blue?

Kia did a great job of presenting their cars at the Orange County Auto Show. They had the accent lights on and power so the trunks could be opened. The HiChroma Red paint looked great in the auto show lights.

Dammit I really wanted yellow.

If I were buying this car, I'd have a hard time deciding between Micro Blue and Panthera Metal.

Mentioned in first few minutes of this video that Kia reps hinted at a future special edition in yellow.

How did we go from the only yellow model sent to reviewers being a 2.0 base model to having to wait who knows how long and shell out who knows how much for a "special edition" just to get yellow?

Panthera Metal colors looks black to me. Is it supposed to be a really dark gray?

That’s what I want red or ceramic gray with Red Napa:)
