Mine wasn't on the original VIN list but now it is. So if that's discouraged anyone you might check with your dealership again.
I think you're the first person with a GT2 (powered hatch) to confirm applicability. My GT2 wasn't on it when I last asked the dealer. Out of curiosity, how did you find out you were now on the list?
Mine had/has the rattle and its a GT2.
My GT2 RWD has the rattle.
Sorry, I wasn't clear. I didn't mean whether the GT2s had the rattle...mine does, so I know they do. I meant whether the TSB/Service Action applied to any GT2 VINs. It did not when I was last at the dealer, and @Kazz's post was the first I'd seen of an update to the affected VINs.
Sorry I've not been on for a day or two. I went in for an (early) oil change since we were taking the Stinger for a long trip and discussed it with my service writer & tech then. They let me know I was on the list after the oil change. It's possible they found a way to just get me the parts, but they'd tell me were that the case. Plus, the parts department manager is a real stickler. Even more reason to believe what they said is true.I think you're the first person with a GT2 (powered hatch) to confirm TSB applicability. im shop twice with fix didn't work great still rattles did the fix myself with a rubber sheet just cut out 2 pads works great noise gone cost me 13 bucks US
traced round stops as there kit foam piece didn't go all way to edge, cut it out and put it on stop first then there foam kit piece and there 4 washers now no rattlesIf not too much to ask, can you take a picture of the finish product on your method...I may try that out first instead of going to the local dealership...My reason is I went to buy an oil filter from my local dealership and they give me the wrong 2.0T regular oil filter, not the cartage from the 3.3 T. I ask him its the wrong filter and he insist it was the correct one because he look on their computer..I came home and look at the youtube video of the guy oil change the Stinger and what do you know...it the wrong filter so I called the dealership back and talk to the same guy again and he say okay given me the VIN number to my car and I provide to him. He came back and say OK you are right, I give you the wrong part and claimed their system does not have the 3.3T on file for part, only by VIN number will they locate the part for the car...MY GUT TELL ME THAT A DEALER YOU DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR IN BECAUSE THEY WILL MESS IT UP AND BLAME YOU FOR THE ISSUE.![]()

Yes, that's just the design/engineering of the headlights. Love it or hate it.Going to Kia Service on Monday. I'll let you know if they fix the bumping. Anyone else see a shadow of about a half a basket ball in the middle of the head lights when driving at night. My wife noticed it the first night we were coming home. I pulled up to the garage door and took a picture of it. Will ask about it on Monday too. Thanks!
Yup. I’m still waiting to hear of a Kia-services permanent solution to this problem.Took in 3 times still have hatch click. They have done all fixes but every time it’s quite for weeks or months and it comes back.where trying new over slam bumpers with set screw drilled in it. The rubber stopper keeps moving out of place. Usually screwing itself in. If those things aren’t precise you get hatch noise back again
first my dealer trashes my wheel , tire and steering wheel now Kia Canada isnt responding to the sunroof , door and hatch noise issues ..................I'm getting dismayed ............this is the type of stuff that resulted in leaving BMW .................I'm bummmed !Yup.
