And you clearly don't have children playing with it either.Checked out rear and I do have temperature settings.
Because I drive and haven’t sat in the back I haven’t really noticed.....even whilst vacuuming!![]()

I also got the Deep Chroma Blue which is as good as I had hoped. There is so much to play with in the car that I am sure it will take me weeks to set it up the way I want it.
I stopped at the shops on the way home and the comments from strangers started - love the colour, what kind of car is that, is it really a Kia. I had heard people who already had a Stinger say it happens, but it is a nice feeling when it does.
All my kids are grown up and drive their own cars thank goodness. And you clearly don't have children playing with it either.
There's a whole link I started about this. Called Cabin temperature and another called Hot transmission tunnel. My cars has been once for a check, not satisfied was told I was the only one. Now booked in with another dealer for a full check May7th.Has anyone noticed how hot the interior gets in the car?
Have to have air con on all the time to be comfortable.
They also told me there wasn’t any issues with cabin interior temperature when I had first service. There's a whole link I started about this. A huge thank you to Stinger Boy for letting me check out his active exhaust system. I am really impressed with the character it adds to the car and it’s functionality. I really like how you hear it down low but with out the drone at cruising speeds. All my kids are grown up and drive their own cars thank goodness.
I can remember all the scuff marks etc when I had new cars previously with the kids in the back.![]()
I would surmise an aftermarket bi modal exhaust not recommended/approved by Kia wouldn’t be protected by 7 year warranty. These sorts of things are never great value from dealerships. But the integration with the driving modes and warranty are pluses. I would think in future it would be installed as stock on the GT model.
Let us know how it goes when you get it fitted.Of cause the cats back exhaust wouldn't be covered by kia warranty but it wouldn't effect the warranty either.I have called xforce about a cat back bi modal system for the stinger using the varex smart box in the system and they are working on it at the moment, could increase the hp by about 10hp . It should be available shortly it has unlimited control on the noise factor. You can it out on their site
Had a look whilst in idle and both flaps open.I’ve got a question for anybody with the Kia Bi-Modal installed. Whilst driving behind my car being driven by my wife tonight and lights shining on the tips I’ve noticed that the left flap was not opening.
We were speaking on the phone and I had her accelerate at different times/speeds and noticed it never opened, yet the right one did at acceleration and at idle. I poked it once we got to our destination with the car off and remained closed with pressure while the right was opened.
I’m guessing it’s stuck or seized but I’m hoping someone can see if there left flap is opened when parked or if they can say whether it opens when reving before I speak with my dealer. TIA
lol, great reason for your wife to drive your car while you’re in hospital recovering.Had a look whilst in idle and both flaps open.
I’d ask my wife to rev the car whilst I looked but she’d probably stick it in reverse and run me over, lol.![]()
My wife is already a leadfoot in her Mazda2. If she got behind the wheel in the Stinger she’d be trying to break the sound barrier, lol.lol, great reason for your wife to drive your car while you’re in hospital recovering.
Awesome, thank you, that’s what I thought. I’ll give my dealer a call tomorrow.

agreeYep both are open at the same time.
Have to say I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't have the black deflector plate like on the original so you can't see between the pipes and diffuser tips from behind.
I’m the one in hospital not stinger boylol, great reason for your wife to drive your car while you’re in hospital recovering.
