I ordered the bigger Stinger emblem to put on the back of my car and I was watching some videos on how to install it. The guy in the video filled the two holes with silicone before he put the badge on, and I was wondering if that has to be done, or is it okay to skip and just put the logo over?
I personally skipped filling the holes and have zero issues... no water has gotten in and it’s been raining yesterday and todayI ordered the bigger Stinger emblem to put on the back of my car and I was watching some videos on how to install it. if you have the silicone you might as well use it. but if the badge is installed properly there wont be any water getting in. if water got under that two sided tape everyone's badges would be falling off.I filled mine. How do people "know" that no water is getting in? Or will in the future? Black car-black silicone. Cover with new emblem
