Simple question about ad blocker . I use a iPad Pro and I need to know how to disable Adblock ear so I can get at least 2 two clean white pages. That way I can fully use the features on this forum. I’m computer challenged! Ugh! Thanks in advanced.

You may not be able to...this forum has some spammy/malicious trackers that many modern browsers block automatically. I gave up trying to figure out which of the dozens were mandatory and just leave everything blocked, and firing up a private tab with shields disabled if I need to post an attachment etc.

I've used plenty of other XenForo-based forums that weren't anywhere near this inundated, so maybe someone can convince the admins to dial things back a bit...

Yep I have spoken to Sal about it, it really is annoying how many ads bombard you on a mobile device.

It's not just mobile devices. My laptop gets bombarded with another account that I monitor, which is free like most. I even see offers to view the preposterous preoccupation of the US adult male. Ha hah. If I keep Adblock Plus on, then I can't view my own album or any others. They are treated like popup ads evidently. Really annoying.

Thanks for the responses. Anybody know how to “whitelist this site for added functionality “? I’d love to be able to see the pictures members post on here. Again as always, thanks in advance!

I too find the aggressive adblocking annoying as well. If/when I post pics here, they're always linked from imgur or similar. On the rare occasion I do need to see something posted and hosted here, I'll open an incognito window with the filters disabled.

Generally in firefox I see practically no ads here with ublock origin. There is some network wide filtering enabled on the dns server (I run a local dns server) using various block lists.

Vivaldi browser is used on the tablet that has its own ad/tracking blocking built in. I see a few more ads there.

I paid $100 and it has made zero difference to the amount of ads i am bombarded with, so your statement is incorrect...

I have an adblocker running on my whole house thanks to pihole. before, I would not get ads, but it wouldn't let me see photos or search, with the same " 2 clear pages" message. Now that I paid, I get no ads and I can browse and search normally.

I only use my phone mainly as I am only home 5 days a month .
