Hi all,

This might generate a "WTF" discussion but here it goes.....

Has anyone installed the G70 Velossa ducts on a Stinger ?
If yes could you please post any pictures you might have ?

Or, does anyone know where I can buy these ?

Try the stingers facebook forum, they sell them in various colours.

It is a unique shape...

I never really like the ones that Velossa make for the Stinger because they take up too much space. Not enough cooling air gets through ( in my opinion ). I feel like the above ones still allow good air flow to the trans cooler, A/C condenser and radiator.

Thanks Ozekia, I'll do some looking there.

I have the rectangular shaped snorkels specifically made for the Stinger.
The ones in your pic don't look like they'll fit without some creative work around.
Mine went in no problem.

Yeah, I had the ones that Velossa sell for the Stinger but as you can see in this picture, they take up a lot of the air flow to the trans cooler, condenser and radiator.
This picture is a pretty good display of what I'm talking about. Once they're installed, this is about the amount of remaining air flow to these coolers. Thus, I'm looking at a similar but smaller version.

Yes, there's air flow through the lower section but in my case, that first goes through my after market intercooler first.

I'm not saying Velossa has it wrong etc but just looking for better balance to suit my OCD neeeds :p.

Did you install the Big Mouths yourself? These things hardly block airflow to the heat exchangers...

Yes, I did install them myself. Yes there's lot of room when the bumper ( with grille ) is off but one it's all back on, direct airflow become a bit more restrictive.

Anyways, I think I'm chasing a ghost here. Might just let this one go. Thanks for those who tried to help :)

There are times I've driven in 40C temps with the snorks, and the temperature for both coolant and oil seemed normal vs. when I didn't have the snorks.

I also think there are other designs out there which you can 3d print and allow more air to bypass.
