I've been lurking in a few different forums now and looking at websites trying to see if it is possible to tune the TCU or ECU on a stinger to have the upshift noises many turbo cars also have now (m340, S4, GTI, etc).
I have noticed my stinger does the noise but only while shifting from 1-2 and with traction and stability turned off. Is there a way to get that available for other shifts? I have reached out to some tuners and was told that it was a g70 (2022+) thing only, but just curious if anyone else out there has had different advice or experience.

When you say " UPSHIFT NOISES " are you talking about a blow off valve? Or better yet,

something more along the lines of this
The drive lines and virtually identical between the Stinger and the G70...

So whatever exhaust + downpipes + resonators were used, copy that.

Also - just buy the same TCU

What the noise is, Is usually called "DSG farts" and started with German's primarily Audi/VW hence the name. as it was a byproduct of the way a DSG works
But as it caught on has moved to other cars as well.
Its just the car pulling timing for a split second between shifts and from what i know is done by the TCU.
Atleast this is how it was done on BMW, As xHP TCU tunes had a setting to allow you to adjust how long/loud this noise was.

the stinger does not do this by factory like you said, But the genesis does. Im not sure what swapping in a genesis TCU would do if thats possible. It would be cool if thats the case tho.

Have you emailed TORK to see? if anyone would know i feel like it would be him.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
