I’ve had the e85 BEF 19. BMS tcu. Using octane booster, log seems fine. The 100-200km is off. At 8.00sec flat. Some getting low to mid 7s.

What can be done to achieve more effective trap speed?

Straight pipe - intake. No meth just 80/20 ethanol with octane booster +93 pump gas.

Trap speed is not only the power but the weight of a car too, and at some point even more important.

the car is powerful not a joke. Some go for weight reduction yes

Wheel or crank? What torque?

I would give more E, for E30-40 without booster.

Its E 35

But that was meth now I don’t have meth in my country. Just e85 now . Will go for a 40 mix thanks

Your car is strong, and 8s is nice, too. There are a lot of things when it comes to times.

Try maps with a lower boost and compare 100-200 or different.

I did 8.45 on the map 4 while the hpfp was holding pressure

Strong car!

Here is 100-200 with my old engine that later broke a piston as one the EWGs did stuck in almost closed position, it didn´t like 2 bar (29 psi)... .

In Mustang dyno it showed 394 hp and 582 Nm with a JB Map 6. This Mustang reads very low. My GTR showed 1150 whp in Dynojet but only 900 in this Mustang and still do 100-200 km/h at 3,5 seconds all day.

This was with stock timing as ECU was stock, so around 14 degrees and 1,5 Bar (22 PSI at midrange and 1,25 bar (17 PSI) at redline. This 394 seems like around 500 also in converted to Dynojet. I think this is max for stock Turbo Stinger. Now with full E85 I am at JB BEF 17 degrees E85 so this coming spring I hope for some better numbers

You can also see difference in JB Map 3 and tuned Map 6, around 0,1 Bar or 1,5 PSI difference and around 20 whp. So JB Map 3 (maybe 4) is a very good tune to run for most of us. My map 6 at Dyno is maxed out for boost and still falling numbers after 5800 rpm, if you are full catless maybe... some extend power.

But I think we should be happy with these numbers! We have very fast daily drivers. Some minor differences can be weather, moisture, temp, wheel sizes/tires and so.

Some reflections, please come with your own thoughts:
  • Seems that timing over 18 degrees don´t seems to make more power, just more risk for head-lifts that kills every engine, be aware... Don´t chase timing.
  • Also about boost... it isn`t all about boost... yes to have like 20-22 psi at shifts can do some at the acc numbers as long if the gearbox don´t take longer times to shift but after 5000 rpm it seems that a taper boost makes my car faster (and also shifts faster). Taper like to some 17-18 psi.
  • Also no need to shift later than 5800 rpm, see dyno

Here is an early log now with new BEF, timing has not adapted yet up to 17, it takes some cycling. Later in coming spring I will do Dyno to see where boost not help to more power, maybe I go down some PSI.

I just add 5 gals of e85 when the car is at 9km range
If you plan to run an ethanol mix most of the time (not just for a single tank), you don't need to fully drain and refill. Your 5-6 gallons of E85 is 1.25-1.5 gallons per quarter tank, if the rest has the same mix.

So if you're at 3/4 full, just add 1.25-1.5 gallons of E85 and the rest premium. Half tank, add 2.5-3 gal E85 then the rest gas. Quarter tank, add 3.75-4.5 gal E85 then gas.

This car is fun but it’s a street car as our friend said above. All those cars breaking numbers are too quick for the street. Thanks for the shared info guys. Yes the tapering is quite good. Think of it better than flat boost. Map 4 and map 7 had the best feeling in shifts and throttle responsiveness. Especially the map 7 is progressive too

Here’s a slip. 16psi semi slicks. E content ? Don’t know. M5 VP + Vp speed sauce 50/50. -4 psi drop 1st gear. Sift at 5k but 5th gear all the way. Map 6.
11.8 to 11.6 to 11.5 no cooling. Da 380 something. Kia’s brother Genesis. Will try out welds, don’t know if mt ss 305 17 10.5 inches would fit though.
