I grabbed some gt line wheels off a fellow stinger owner a few months back and now need to fit them to some tires for the winter. Will the gt-line 18x8 +34 clear brembos? also thinking about going with 245/40/18 tires. Thanks in advance

Well since you have them already, have you thought about putting one on front to see if it fits?

I had that idea this morning but actually didn’t feel like doing it I probably should right

All OEM wheels fit all Stinger trims from '18 through '23. If you find out otherwise it will be a first on the forum for me. AWD GT trims came standard with 18" wheels 8" wide, over Brembo brakes, of course. GT trims are more commonly seen with staggered 19" wheels, even my AWD GT1 came that way. As I recall, in 2018 as the Stinger was delivered in the US, northern states all got the AWD models in squared 18" wheels - and a lower speed limiter too, which pissed a number of drivers off, but it did say that in the brochures, just in small print. Hah.

If you are using the GT-Line wheels for winter, why not stay with 225/45 tires? They will grip better in the snow than 245 wide tires will.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Yes, our GT-Line has the Apex package, which includes Brembos.

That'll work, although that size leans more towards the performance side, which for snow tires might not be the best way to go. We've got several sets of both 245/40R18 and 235/45R18. For everyday driving, I prefer the 235/45.

Wider tire does help handle more power, but is that a concern with snow tires? The soft and highly siped tread blocks don't take kindly to being thrashed about.
