Is there a USB data splitter?

I just took delivery of a GT2. There are two USB ports on the dash: one is for data and the other is for charging.

I need two data ports: one for Apple Car Play and another to play music off a flash drive.

I briefly looked online and all I saw were splitters where one cable was for data and the other for charging.

Is there a splitter where both cables are for data, where I could plug it into the Stinger's single USB port?

No, but you can put your songs on the iPhone - then play them while still using all the functionality of ACP.

Does the phone charge through the data port as well?

I have exactly the same problem on my wife's 2019 Sorento SX. I haven't tried carplay yet (have an iphone but don't use it much), but am a regular Android Auto user. When we took a long trip, it was a real hassle to not be able to play music from the USB fob we keep in the car with about 7500 songs on it while using Android Auto. I tried both powered and non-powered hubs. Neither works. The system will only recognize one USB-connected device connected to the data port and won't recognize anything if there's a hub plugged in there (but the charging aspect seems to pass thru just fine). This is really the only thing keeping me out of a Stinger at this juncture since I spend a LOT of time driving and like to hear my own music while consuming Android Auto (much better nav experience and better integration with phone/contacts than the Kia headunit). The other peeve with the headunit is the missing voice search for USB music. Both of our other cars have that feature (including the now 6 year old Sorento we keep as our extra car). I can't understand why that feature would have been removed.

If you find a workaround, I'd love to hear about it.

Cheers!

A bit more leg work, but a Plex server at home solves all your issues, and there's a narive Android Auto app. I have my entire catalog anywhere I go.

Happy to expand upon this if you want a deep dive.

Our 2016 Sorento SX-L has the built in hard rive for storing music so my thumb drive was saved to that. So I can play that music while using AA through the USB. Does the 2019 no longer have the ability to store music files on the infinity system?

my phone has 512gb storage (i miss the days of cheap removable microSD cards  ) ... i have almost my whole music collection (~200gb) on my phone, that gets played through AA.

i'd recommend Jet Audio or Poweramp for music player apps on the phone for AA ... they have big graphic EQ's you can tweak to really make the Stinger HK factory system sound good.

I've been using an app called Symfonium for a couple months and love it. The primary reason I'm using it is because it synchs with my personal music server (Navidrome) but after reading this I decided to check to see if it had an EQ built in and sure enough, it does! I've only looked at it very briefly but it looks complicated as hell to set it up/figure it out though.
