I have JUN BL down pipes and mid section which then connects to the series 1 Australia only Bi-Modal rear muffler ( so 2.5 inch all the way ).
It sounds great and even better when I pull the fuse and leave the valves open all the time BUT as many of you know, with that, you get drone :cautious:
I've just left the fuse in and driven it around as is, but a little while ago I remembered a trick which has helped with drone in the past ( and improved the exhaust note ).

So, I decided to go through some old pics and eventually remembered what was needed and purchased the parts.

Recently I installed the solution to my Stinger and guess what ? It worked !
Have been driving around for the last 2 weeks with the solution installed, fuse out and valves open and it's loud but nice ! ( and no drone so far ).

Anyway, here's what I did.

4 x Stainless Steel U-Bolt Exhaust clamps, a couple of extra S/S nuts to suit and a pair of exhaust vibration dampeners.

At the moment I have them installed as pictured but might move them around after a while to see if anything changes.

The ONLY 'kind of' negatives to this are, 1. it adds a bit more weight to the exhaust and 2. the vibration dampeners I used are a Toyota part

Anyway, this is working for me and I hope someone else finds this helpful and has success.

P.S. Manual shifting in Sports mode is pure

Any way to get a comparison with & without?

Not really from a "recorded" perspective.
IMO my car sounds good in person but crap recorded and drone is also hard to record.

I didn't know these were even a thing! Wonder how they'd go on the MBRP
If they work on my JUN BL they should work on the MBRP ( which is a better designed system than mine ) I would expect.

They also reduced the raspy sound of my system which I'm pleasantly surprised about.

Full disclosure.

Today I re-greased my sway bar bushes and while under the car I found that one of my Bi-Modal valves was a bit lose and was rattling during engine revs so I that was probably part of my exhaust pain. I added a light spring to stop that and now it sounds even better again. :D

Can't believe how good these things can sound !
No drone at all, and with the valves open I get a tiny burble on decel.

Makes me fall in love with it all over again.

This has been kind of a game changer for me. I now drive with no music etc just listening to the exhaust....

If anyone else has success with this, let me know. I really hope others get the same results.
